Great setup
I've purchased 5 different Kastking rod and reel combos this year. I became a huge fan because the quality seemed really great, especially on the reels. This combo was no different and I loved using it but I went to set the hook yesterday and the rod snapped into multiple pieces. I have only had it for about 2.5 months and have used it quite a bit but I store it in a rod sleeve and don't abuse it so I'm baffled as to why it would break while not under incredible stress or abuse. I haven't reached out to them to see if they'll warranty it or not but I doubt it. I'll report back if they do. Edit: Their warranty department was great to work with and they covered the rod without any question.

it's durable and light
there's still a backlash if you do not know how to use a baitcaster..so go slow at first to reduce any birdnests..but great pole I love it!

Great combo for the price, extremely lightweight the 7:1:1 ratio makes it perfect for retrieves. twitch action of the rod is nice hasn’t snapped. Casts great as it was my first baitcaster it was easy to get the feel for it. Only downside is that the logos on the reel wipe off

Beautiful rod and reel!
The combo looks even more beautiful in person than in the pictures, which is rare. I almost don't want to mess it up by using it! lol The reel is pretty smooth. I will enjoy using it. I got the set with the spinning rod combo and the baitcaster combo.

Bundle packaged/labeled incorrectly
I have ordered the 6'6" medium right handed bundle twice now and they keep sending it with a left handed reel. See photos. Extremely frustrating. Kast King needs to do some QA on their packaging team.
