Leather Shepherd Sling Handmade Paracord Shepherds Sling Rock Thrower Old-Fashioned Slingshot

I sling golf balls and tennis balls for distance as part of an obscure yoga practice. I make my own shepherd slings and also tried many manufactured slings. This is one of the very best. It is well-made from quality materials. The pouch accommodates both tennis balls and golf balls. The leather retention thong and the leather release toggle are well designed and work flawlessly. The cords are longer than most slings. Simple enough to shorten. However, for distance throwing they are ideal. Highly recommended! Keep in mind that slinging is a skill that requires practice. There are lots of Youtube videos demonstrating the basics. Be sure to practice in a large open area well away from people and living creatures.

I bought another of these made with para cord from another company and I really like this model the best. This has great pouch with trifold and all leather. Its length is where the sling should be. About 40-48” overall length from end of sling to pouch folded in half.

This can be made, but who has the time to make the leather pocket? If anything, this gives you a great model to build your own.

This is a well proportioned sling with a good pocket for 1" to 3" projectiles of most shapes. It has grommets at key wear points, and a little leather disk on the release. May add a whip to the end for the release sound. I don't see any other room for improvement, and that's highly subjective. Good sling to learn on!

This is a really nice leather sling. My grandson likes to pretend he is David and he goes around swinging marshmallows trying to slay the lions and bears. Every once in awhile he has to use a rock to slay a giant. They all work well.

Got this for my wife for part of a Mother's day gift...she loves it!
