These are excellent, smooth and dark ballpoint pens without ink blobs & globs. This 0.7mm ballpoint pen hs super smooth, dark ink and a fine line. Usually to get darker ink, you get a 1.0mm larger pen that may lay lots of ink including blobs on your paper. This pen's tip is a needle point, so you can get up next to a ruler or a stencil without issue. The shape of the pen is slimlined so it fits into even the slimmest pen holder on the side of your notebook and fits into your bag without catching on everything in site. This pack has the three basic colors anyone needs in most worksites except nurses that need green ink, but they make a green one too. I also bought the multi-colored pack of these for diagrams and grading papers. The ink isn't sticky and dries quickly so I don't smudge ink everywhere. Buy these, you won't need any other ones for your EDC pen.

These pens write so smoothly, I usually don’t like ballpoint pens but these don’t even feel like they are ball point. They’re of very high quality too, very durable. The color is deep as well and the ink flow is great.

I’m really enjoying these Pentonic ballpoint pens. The 0.7 mm fine point writes smoothly and gives a clean, precise line that’s perfect for journaling and note‑taking. The frosted pale blue barrel looks stylish, and the pens feel lightweight but durable. Purchased these in August and it is currently November 2025. These pens are fabulous. They write very smoothly, no skipping, ink supply is about the length of the outer barrel; giving long writing abilities. good price for 15 pens. Needed a red pen that looked like red ink when written with, Got it! Not scratchy like some fine points, very smooth, No ink blobs of paper. The clip on cap is sturdy and holds onto papers, the cap stays in place while using the pen. They are a very balanced pen, light but sturdy. So glad I took the chance on these. Highly recommended for anyone professional , journalist, school leisure use. They are Red, Black Blue 3 each in a box of 15.

I betrayed myself. I've historical been a broad/blue ink ballpoint pen user. Since it's so difficult to find a good match for the blue bold, I bought these on a whim. Let's try a finer needle tip and see how it goes. I'm pleased. These hold the ink without blob or smear. The pen body is nice and sturdy in the hand. Easy to grip with little stress when writing a long piece. Ink color is solid and uniform. I didn't expect to like these and I'm surprised how much i do.

I'm a server. I reckognize and appreciate a good pen, preferably blue. This is the smoothest writing pen Ive ever used, and they're inexpensive. Knocks inkjoy right out of the water. I'll be stocking up

FINALLY! I was looking & looking for a simple stick pen with a long point (don't know why but I prefer the look of them) and one that had smooth, dark, quickly-drying ink. These cannot be beat for the quality and price with all the other things I mentioned. The original Bic Stick used to apply, but I bought them recently and the ink is way too faint. Very pleased with this purchase of Pentonic pens, and will now try the black ones as well.

These are really nice, smooth-writing pens, that don't blob or skip. The only reason I did not give 5-stars is that, for me, the barrel of the pens are quite narrow making holding them a wee bit awkward, and there is no 'grip' space where you would hold the pen (which I did recognize prior to purchasing). It is the combination of these two factors that make the pen slightly uncomfortable *for me*. I guess I didn't read the description well enough as I wasn't expecting such slim pens, so that is on me. My workaround was to add pen grips and this has helped a bit, but I would prefer to not have to use them. But - the quality of the pens is excellent as is the ink and for some people, this could be their dream pen!
