Took a little improvisation
Very high quality and improved my reception. The antenna separated from the antenna base on installation, was secured poorly. I almost returned it. I cleaned out the original silicone and reattached to antenna using 2 part glue. Worked great, now I'm satisfied.

Streamlined connector is great. Fiberglass thick and sturdy.
Bought it to help out a fledgling Miami company. Really like the streamlined size of the VHF connector. Makes it so easy to route VHF cable. Also like that the antenna is thicker fiberglass surrounding the core than my Shakespeare. I believe this will help the antenna hold up better when I trailer the boat up and down the east coast.Only potential disappoint is when I talked to a buddy using the two separate radios on my boat. He said the radio with the Shakespeare had more clear sound coming through. Of course, the difference could have been the radios.

4 foot not 5
Says (5 foot) antenna on the product description and it’s only 4 foot long.. looked at the original website and they don’t even make a 5 footer. and it took about three weeks to receive so beware
