My new best friend!
Note: I am not a "Vine" customer, did not receive this product at a free or reduced cost and have no affiliation with Bissell. I just bought the dang thing and, well, I just LOVE the dang thing! My purchase story: We recently purchased a 25-year-old doublewide manufactured home to use as a summer cabin and I tried everything to clean the original 1999 white/bisque vinyl sheet flooring. I Swiffer-ed (MANY times). I wet mopped. I used 409 and scrubbed. I even got down on my hands and knees with Mr. Clean pads. Nothing got the embedded grime out of the pebble-textured flooring to my satisfaction. Then my Bissell arrived. I filled up the water tank and got to it -- and I am IN LOVE. For the worst spots, I used a spray cleaner first and then the Bissell set on steam mode. What Godsend. It cleaned this floor nearly like new. The photo shows the pads after I did only 1/3 of my kitchen flooring -- and that is AFTER it had been cleaned and mopped numerous times. The Bissell got up dirt nothing else did and it did it without breaking my back, my arms or my bank account. The white pads are how they look new. The pads on the machine show the dirt I got up in just minutes. You can see the dirt for yourself, and like I said, that was after only 1/3 of my kitchen floor was "Bissell-ed." (Oh, and these pads pop into your washing machine so are reusable.) This steam mop is exceptional, especially for the price. I'm buying another for my house in town that has sealed oak hardwood floors. PROS: Super easy to use with self-propelled power glide, easy-to-fill water reservoir tank (takes about 16 oz of filtered/bottled water), water lasts a long time, has a power cord rather than battery which means you don't loose scrubbing power and can mop as long as you'd like, steam button is easily accessible, steam is hot and effective, and I could go on for an hour with beneficial features. I have no CONS to report! Seriously! It's light and is a cleaning BOSS. I am a very happy customer.

Read this honest review!!! Absolute junk!! Do not buy.
Final review after 1 year of ownership: Absolute junk. This thing runs a premium price tag. Looks very nice. And upon first use you feel you got your moneys worth. You will quickly find out that it’s a pretty package for a very poorly thought out device. The mop head stores water. With no way to drain it… that water turns rust brown. And it drips all over the place when you cary the device back to storage. It also takes FOREVER to get hot. Like, I can clean my whole apartment in the time it takes to heat up. I tried to just turn it on and let it spin and wait for it to heat up. But that takes so long that you have a puddle of water on the floor because it keeps shooting out water while you wait. Very poorly thought out product. I maybe used the thing 12 times. I’ve had it for about 14 months now. The very first time using the mop was GREAT. But you quickly realize it’s complete junk. I also reached out to Bissel to see if they could help but no response. Check out the picture attached. Buy this if you want that water on your floor. First review. Alright I am conflicted with this steamer mop. It does clean the floors really well and leaves them nice and shiny. Easy to use as well. I really do enjoy cleaning with it. My problem with it is that for some reason the head of the mop seems to be storing water. When I shake the mop around you can hear water swishing around in there. Wouldn't be an issue except this water leaks out of the mop near the spinners on the bottom. The water that comes out is a weird rusty orange brown color. After cleaning when I take the mop heads off it drips this brown water everywhere. When I put the mop back in storage I have to come through and wipe up a trail of that brown water with a paper towel. I tried to take the mop outside and shake the mop around to drain the water but it just kept coming. I sent an email to their customer support about this but have not heard back. Not sure if I am missing something here. If it weren't for this issue I would give this 5 stars.

Remarkably effective for tile and sealed hardwood
I have 3 rooms, an entryway and a laundry room that all have slate-like porcelain tile. I mop them weekly with a Wet Jet style floor cleaner. I thought all the floors were clean. Look at the photo of the 2 sets of machine pads in the photo. One set is new and the other is after my cleaning of my floors with this Bissell floor steamer. They are exactly the same pads when clean. One note. Make sure you fully connect the handle when assembling the device. I didn’t have the handles pressed together fully and it didn’t make the proper electrical connection. I figured it out quick - just a heads up. For $100 this is the best floor cleaner I have ever used for my tile and hardwood floors. It doesn’t leave streaks and with 212 degree steam produced, you know the floors are really clean. Hope this helps! Then this Bissell floor steam cleaner arrived. The build quality is very good for the price. The steam process works well, there are no chemical odors because distilled water has no odor. The water tank capacity is a bit small. I cleaned about 600 sf of tile and hardwood floors and I used 1.5 tanks of distilled water - one tank refill. One irritation is the product registration process on the Bissell website. It is very annoying. They want model number but not with the letter at the end. But they don’t tell you that, you have to figure it out on your own. They want a password that is caps, special characters and numbers but none of this combinations worked. I got locked out of the registration process so I’m still not registered. Bissell HAS to fix this nonsense!

Effective Cleaning with Room for Improvement
I've been using the BISSELL SpinWave SmartSteam for a few months now, and overall, I'm quite pleased with its performance. The rotating mop pads are a game-changer, making it much easier to tackle stubborn dirt and grime on my hard floors. The steam function adds an extra level of cleaning power, leaving my floors feeling genuinely clean and refreshed. One of the standout features is how it handles different floor types. Whether it's tile, hardwood, or laminate, the SpinWave SmartSteam adapts well, and I haven't experienced any damage to my floors. The ability to control the steam output is also a nice touch, allowing me to adjust based on the mess at hand. The mop is relatively lightweight and easy to maneuver, which makes cleaning larger areas less of a chore. I appreciate the swivel steering, as it helps me navigate around furniture and into corners without much effort. However, there are a few areas where this mop could improve. The water tank capacity is somewhat small, requiring refills during longer cleaning sessions. Additionally, while the rotating pads are effective, they can occasionally fling water droplets onto nearby surfaces or baseboards. The cord length is adequate but not generous - an extra few feet would make it perfect for larger rooms without needing to switch outlets. Lastly, while the mop pads are washable, which is great for sustainability, they do wear out faster than I'd like, necessitating more frequent replacements. Despite these minor drawbacks, the BISSELL SpinWave SmartSteam has significantly improved my floor cleaning routine. It's a solid choice for those looking for an efficient, steam-powered mop with the added benefit of rotating pads. With a few tweaks, it could easily be a five-star product.

A great steam cleaning system with no chemicals. Saves a lot of time.
This is one of the best investments in appliances that I've made. Cleaning the floor used to be a big job. I have natural slate floors. I used all the usual methods of cleaning but finally had to get on my hands and knees and scrub with a brush because with natural stone, dirt gets into the pours of the surface. It was becoming too painful to be on my knees. I looked for years trying to find a cleaner that I thought would really work. Then I saw this one with the steam cleaning system, no chemicals, watched the demonstration videos, and was sold. It works so well and takes virtually no extra work. You just have to vacuum first. Watch the videos yourself to see. I take the pads off after using them, wash them by hand with soap using a scrubbing brush, and then put them in the laundry with a load of towels. I don't put them in the dryer although you can. I hang them up to dry.

Only Used Once. So Far, I Love It!
Owing to back issues, the mop & bucket method is no longer viable for me. I started researching steam mops as an alternative. I chose this one over the Shark because this one has a higher RPM speed. Assembly was easy. (Yes, you do have to assemble it. I don't know why the description says you don't.) I had it up and running in 20 minutes. It's pretty quiet! Nothing but the low hum of the motor turning the pads and rhythmic pulsing of the water pump. It glides very easily, and the multi-directional handle allows for it to fit anyplace the base is narrow enough to fit. I even got into that narrow slot between the wall and the toilet! I will need some more practice 'driving' it as it has a pinball-like recoil when it bumps things (baseboards, chair legs, etc.). Even so, it is easy to handle. The floors were dry within 5 minutes of finishing, and they were SPOTLESS. They were evenly clean, were not at all tacky to the touch, bright in color - everything my hands-and-knees-with-a-scrub-brush method used to give me but without all that work and mess! I was sold! I should also note that I needed to wear socks while using the machine as the floors get a bit hot as you're working. Cleanup was as easy as advertised; removed them from the unit (after cooling) and popped them into the washer on low temp. However, they did NOT come totally clean. There are still signs of soil. I will have to work that out as well. They were in the wash alone so maybe there was not enough friction. I dried them on low temp/senor dry and they came through the wash process perfectly fine. Next, I want to purchase some of the scented deionized water as I'd like an aroma to the kitchen floor, in particular (personal choice). I recommend this product! Update: it's been four months and nothing has changed. I still love it!

Good cleaning steam mop with a few quality issues
This does a great job cleaning wood, tile and/or vinyl floors with ease, but have experienced some quality issues, including a broken handle and failure of the spin functions within the warranty period. It does come with a 1-year factory warranty, and we have found it relatively easy to go direct to Bissell customer service to obtain "free" replacement parts (suggest registering and saving your cleaner serial number). So far this is still our first choice due to the results of using it, and hope quality issues are not recurring. The floor compatibility, weight and cord length are good and would have rated higher except for the part issues that were taken care of by the manufacturer.
