I can’t count how many times I’ve thrown out or donated items that were either colors that didn’t look good on me or that had gotten faded and old. I had an orange shirt I bought off eBay that arrived looking much brighter than I had expected. I decided to try to dye it and in my search for products to dye ramie fabric I came across this. My shirt was 100% ramie exclusive of trim (it had an embroidered pattern that was the same orange as the shirt). This product turned the shirt a beautiful ecru color leaving the stitching and embroidery the same orange. The result is a ramie shirt with contrasting stitching that looks much more unique than the original. I was amazed at how this pulled the dye from the fabric like magic. This is a complete game changer for me as I have many items of natural fabric that I don’t wear because I dislike the colors. I can now remove the color and dye them. This will save me a lot of money and the process is very straightforward and easy. I wear almost exclusively natural fabrics so that makes this relatively easy. This took about 40 minutes in total but produced a one of a kind shirt that I absolutely love. If your item is natural fabric I recommend this as it is cost effective and effective all around. Just look at the results on this bright orange shirt! This only required one single packet although I plan to order more to have on hand especially with garage sale season coming up. The only thing I wish was that it also worked on fabrics that can’t be exposed to high temperatures. I have many items that cant withstand the heat so I would not be able to use this on them. Cotton and ramie are probably the safest fabrics to use this on. Beware that the stitching on your garment may be synthetic and the color will not change. This worked out well for my shirt and I like the contrast but it’s something to keep in mind for future dye removal.

This stuff works! I’ve used a box two times on a pair of ivory pants and a pair of white shorts that both had color bleed. Both items came out looking brand new. The only drawback is the smell which is similar to a perm but just use it with ventilation. It’s easy, quick, and works!

Dye was just what I was looking for, couldn’t find the color in the stores. It was the color fucsia, it wasn’t real bright; but was happy to find it on Amazon. The color worked fine, turned out more of a raspberry color and it worked.

I had a white bath towel that I had embroidered a friend’s name in bright blue. It got washed with a new red bandanna so it came out blotchy pink. I knew this color remover could get the red out but I worried it would take out the blue from the embroidery, too. I made a weaker than recommended solution in a huge pot on the stove with just below boiling water, and the pink literally disappeared before my eyes. I stirred it around with a big metal spoon, removed the towel after just a minute, rinsed it like crazy and it’s perfectly white again while the embroidery has stayed its bright blue. There is one small patch of pink left but that’s entirely my fault since I didn’t stir it around enough or leave the towel in long enough since I was worried about the blue embroidery fading out. I’ll make a bit more solution with leftover powder and just dip the pink spot in that. Please note it’s important to wear plastic gloves while working with this stuff, a mask is a good idea and safety goggles are a really good idea since it easy to make splashes if you’re using a big pot on the stove and this can cause blindness

This product used in a stainless steel container simmering on the stove with so toxic that even with an exhaust fan, I wish that I had had a respirator. I spent most of my time out of the house, leaving the item to simmer on the stove and yet it's still had a very toxic effect on me. I was trying to listen the guy in a piece of polyester clothing and it did not work even though I simmered it with an entire package on the stove for about 45 Minutes. I am not up for trying it again. The experience was much too harmful to my body.

I.have one small oil tan on my white zara shirt so I use this whole bag mixed with boiled water and soaps it for about 2 hour but it not came out only make it lighter a little but not completely off.so I think better use bleach because this bag so tiny and pricey little bag and not work well.

This worked a treat on cotton batik fabric.

This goes a long way and was easy to use in a bucket. Class tie-dye projects in a bucket.
