2009年シボレーシルバラード5.3Lへ取り付けいたしました。 V8から切り替わる事もなく機能しています。 微妙なアクセルコントロール時のV4からV8への切り替わりタイミングで一瞬もたつくようなぎこちない挙動もなくなりスムーズになりましたが元々のコンピューターが燃費を良くするためのプログラムなのかレスポンスはタルい感じのままです。 まぁリフターの固着トラブル対策なので少しは役にたつのかなと思います。

I will start by saying that I am a retired mechanic so my review might carry a little weight. With that said, this disabler works great. I have a 2018 Sierra 1500 and I was a bit skeptical because of some of the reviews, but I have had zero issues after one month of using. The exact opposite, actually. No more bogging down on 4 cylinders. The throttle is much more responsive. I installed a cat-back Flowmaster exhaust system because the original GM muffler rotted out on both ends. The drone from the AFM was driving me nuts. The issue has disappeared. I was expecting a bit lower gas mileage, but it's actually better now. Before using the disabler my average fuel economy was 17.5L/100kms I ran it for 100kms after installing the disabler and it dropped to 15L/100kms. I also let the truck sit for a solid week to see if it drained the battery. Before starting it I took a voltage reading at the battery and it was 12.6v, so no parasitic drain from the disabler. I didn't experience any check engine light as some others mentioned. All in all, I consider this disabler to be one of the, if not the best purchases I have made for my Sierra. I 100% recommend this product.

The device is well-made, and the instructions are clear and easy to understand. It delivers a more predictable driving feel, performing excellently whether I'm towing a trailer or just commuting. It’s also great that it can be removed to revert to factory settings if needed. All in all, for compatible vehicles, this is a practical accessory that offers both easy installation and a smoother driving experience.

Just wonderful. No more rough downshifts and hesitation when I step on the accelerator. Much smoother drive. I got it for my 2020 sierra 1500 with the 6-gear transmission.
