If you’re like me and have a teenager (or you’re just a fan of the "pimple patch aesthetic"), you know how expensive the name-brand star patches can be. This Dr. Zitacne pack is a massive 255-count set, which is significantly more patches for a fraction of the cost. How they Compare I was worried these might be "cheap" knockoffs that wouldn't actually heal anything, but they performed surprisingly well compared to the original Starface patches: Adhesion: These actually stay on better through the night. I’ve had the name-brand ones peel off on my pillow, but these are still firmly in place when I wake up. Hydrocolloid Quality: They do exactly what they’re supposed to do—pull out the gunk. You can see the patch turn white over the blemish, and by morning, the inflammation is way down. The Look: The yellow color is vibrant and the star shape is clean. They don't look like "fakes" once they're on your skin. Skin Sensitivity I have fairly sensitive skin, and some adhesives can leave a red ring behind. I didn't experience any irritation with these. They peel off easily without tugging at the skin, which is a big plus. Final Verdict If you’re buying these for the "cute" factor but want them to actually work, this is a perfect alternative. You get way more for your money without sacrificing the healing power of the hydrocolloid.

Exactly as advertised. They're decently sticky enough that they stay on overnight, but not so sticky that they're painful to peel off in the morning. They do a good job of pulling pus out. They're excellent for keeping me from scratching my acne overnight in my sleep. I also use them to cover small wounds during the day when I want to keep them clean and moisturized, like if I've popped a pimple too deeply and it's turned into a open wound. Good to keep that hydrated and keep my fingers off it. The value for the money is really good too considering you're getting a whole roll instead of a sticker sheet.

This patch is the only thing that's helped my skin when it's overrun with acne. You can cut it to the perfect size, leave it on overnight, and peel it off in the morning. The results are disgusting and satisfying in equal measure. I'd recommend this to everyone looking to clear up their skin.

Not bad! These do work, at least for my teen and I. Before bed I put a patch on 1 of those just budding pimples..you know the ones that hurt even though you cant see it yet? I know you do! Well, let me tell you how shocked I was to wake up in the morning...ok, I may have not checked it until about 12 but still...around 12, I checked and it was gone! I thought my eyes weren't working yet so I told my son to come look. He said Yea like 2 came off and they worked for me too, but what did you think they were supposed to do? LOL! Well excuse me son! I forgot that I'm not 1 of the cool kids no more and bcus I'm old the little things excite me🫣Just forget that ok, point is they work! My son still had some over his face so I started picking them off and holy! It didn't look half as bad as before he went to bed. Since he got that good teenage hormonal skin his bumps were a bit worse than mine (don't tell him) but they seriously made an obvious difference. Now the ONLY reason I gave 4 stars is bcus they lose stickiness easily so if you happen to touch the sticky side while getting them off them paper, they're not going to stick well if at all and even some that weren't touched at all were falling off shortly after putting them on. For the price you pay, the amount you get, and the fact that they actually work, It's still worth it to me. This is way longer then it was supposed to be so just buy them bye!!

I love these pimple patches and swear by them. They are super cute and fun and don’t look awkward on my face (unless it’s the red one yikes..). These are cheap but they work just as good as the pricier ones you see at target or other stores. A big fan of these and will continue to buy these whenever I run out.

Love that it comes with A LOT, and with a variety of colors and sizes. They stick really good to your face, too. However, they aren't comparable in effectiveness to star face pimple patches. Those do a better job at lessening the inflammation. These are literally just a cover up. Still cute though.

After using pre-cut hydrocolloid pimple patches for a few months, I decided to give this roll a try, and I'm so glad I did. It's one of those products that makes you wonder why you ever paid so much for individually packaged patches. The biggest advantage is how cost-effective it is. Instead of paying a premium for pre-cut shapes, you can simply cut the exact size you need. Whether it's a tiny blemish or a larger breakout, you aren't limited to one standard patch size. That flexibility means there's very little waste, and one roll lasts a surprisingly long time. Performance-wise, it works just as well, if not better, than many of the more expensive pre-cut options I've purchased. It adheres well, stays in place overnight, and does an excellent job of absorbing fluid from active blemishes while helping protect them from touching or picking. I consistently wake up with pimples looking flatter, less inflamed, and much less noticeable than they were the night before. Because you control the size of each piece, this roll is also great for covering areas where several blemishes are close together. Instead of using multiple small patches, I can cut one piece that covers everything, which is both more convenient and more economical. Another thing I appreciate is how much product you get. The roll is generously sized, so even with regular use, it's going to last me quite a while. That makes it an even better value compared to buying box after box of pre-cut patches. When I eventually run out, I'll absolutely be purchasing another roll. It has become a staple in my skincare routine because it's effective, customizable, and saves money without sacrificing results. If you're someone who uses hydrocolloid patches regularly, I highly recommend making the switch to a roll, you get more versatility and much better value for your money.

They do a pretty good pimple patch job. And come in fun shapes and colors. Make sure your skin doesn’t have anything on it to ensure the patch sticks properly, freshly washed face preferred lol.
