Neither - product is what I wanted!

This perm is super easy to use and holds well. I have hard to wave hair and it took with no problems. Would have been better if I had a partner in crime to help but as the photos show it worked great. The third photo is 10 months out and only reason I am gearing up to do it again is because of the growth.
