Good quality - exact match to charger I got from Tesla
My original Tesla charger burned up and I needed a replacement for home charging. Rather than buy from Tesla I decided to save some money and go with an after market brand. This one was a good price and offered free returns so I gave it a try. It's perfect. Has the button that remotely opens your charger port on the car and comes with a nice hook for the wall to hang up the extra cable length. You can easily choose your charge rate as well. No downside over the OEM cable. Recommended!

Works well on my Hyundai ioniq5
This charger is well made and is a good level one backup charger for me. Because I use it as a 110 V level one charger I only get 1.3 kw or about 12 amps of power. At this rate a full (0- 100%) charge can take 50 hours. I use it for top off and as a backup to my 40 amp charger. If this is your only charger and you have a full electric car (vs a plug in hybrid) you would will definitely want a minimum 16 amp 220V outlet.

Excellent value / quality for price - ambient heat temp sensitive
All components are well made, display is awesome, car plug is sturdy. Long cord is also great.Ambient heat sensor cuts off way before a Tesla branded charger. This unit will not support higher temp outdoor charging without going into heat overload. I live in AZ and had to relocate my exterior plug into an indoor area for my Tesla that is charged outdoors. I kept the charger out of direct sun in 100 degree shade and it shut off almost immediately.

Worked great.....for three days
Had it for three days, was charging fine and getting 32a consistently. Until it stopped working. Both my Tesla's say there's a connection error with the cable and it isn't inserted fully. I tried my mobile connector and supercharging and they're all fine, so the problem is the cable. Returning after five days.

2024 Kia Niro PHEV
I've had this charger in use for about 5 months now, with no problems whatsoever. I wired a dedicated 240v circuit, as is recommended, using 10 gauge wire. It provides the maximum kw that the car requires, and takes a little over 2 hours to charge my Niro from empty. I really liked how flexible the cord was this past winter, even down to the single digits. Easy to coil, and never kinks. I think that most problems people report about EV chargers getting warm, or tripping a breaker is because either the breaker is under-sized or the circuit has other outlets being used. When this charger is plugged into a household 120v outlet it will take around 9 hours to completely charge my Niro. Again, any problems on this type circuit are likely due to it not being a 20 Amp breaker, or having other appliances on the same circuit. We'll worth my money.

My Mistake, But Highly Recommended!
We have two electric cars, a plug-in hybrid for long trips, and an all electric car. I installed a charging station in my garage myself and found that, on occasion, it would be handy to charge both cars at the same time. I bought this 40amp charger thinking I could shorten the charging time on the EV. I went through a lot of time, expense and work to install another station only to find out that the EV's charger is limited to 27 amps, well within the limit of my first 30amp charger. I made two mistakes. The first was to buy it in mid-December and not be able to install it until the 30 day return policy had expired. Second, I didn't check with the car manufacturer to determine the maximum charge rate of the car! My bad! All that said, it's a terrific charger! If you can use it, this is the one to have. It indicates your current charge rate, and can be set to charge at a number of different rates. Also, many chargers have a 25ft cord, but has a 27ft cord, and that extra 2ft, for me, makes a big difference! Don't know if I'll ever get the use out of it myself, being 80yrs old! Oh, well...
