This chair is supposed to be 24" wide. I received this and put it together the seat is only 16" wide and from andle to handle is only 22". I am really disappointed.

This is a great quality shower chair that was easy to put together and it feels solid and sturdy. My mother is short while my father is taller and this shower chair is adjustable to work well for both of them which was a main priority for me. I also appreciate the wider size because our last shower chair was too narrow following surgery. While neither of my parents are "wide," when you deal with surgery, particularly on the hip, you need the extra room to prevent accidental bumping on the chair arms. This one addresses all of those concerns and has been a sturdy, strong, well-made shower chair that is easy to keep sanitized and clean.

I have a walk in shower. This is larger than I’d prefer for the space. I ended up leaving the back rest off to give me more room. The arms were very helpful getting up and down after the hip surgery. It is sturdy and well made. Make sure the measurements will fit your tub or shower before you get it. It is easy to put together.

This chair is easy to put up. Although I am not sure it can really hold 300 lbs, it still looks and feels very sturdy. It can also be adjusted which is nice. Comfortable as well.
