Raw Earth Organic All Natural Vegan Magnesium Deodorant - Baking Soda & Aluminum Free - Lemon / Lime / Thyme (2.5oz)

I'm one of those people that normally don't write reviews. However, after having tried a few organic deodorants (Primal Pit Paste, Bali Secrets) and experiencing mediocre results, I finally found a deodorant that works. Raw Earth(lemon) is truly an organic deodorant that does the job akin to regular chemical-filled big store brands, but without the harmful chemicals. With primal pit and bali secrets, i noticed that the deodorant would only work for a limited time, and after about 5 hours or so, the smell would be a mix of body odor and fragrance. Not really pleasant. With Raw Earth however, the lemon smell last ALL DAY, and the perspiration is kept at a healthy minimum and again, there is no BO. Another plus is that it does not contain baking soda, so no dark armpits. I cannot stress enough how great the lemon fragrance is and it truly is all day lasting. I dont know what it is about this deodorant that works, but it does and I couldn't be happier that i finally found an organic one that does the job after all of this trial and error.EDIT: To make this last longer during the hot summer months, keep it refrigerated.

Edit 1/19So I've noticed that these types of deodorants just stop working in me after a while. As much as I have wanted to use organic deodorants, I have just accepted that they don't work as well and gone back to mainstream deodorants. The ones that actually last are made with waay too much baking soda which burns my pits or none at all and I smell by 3pm. I'm currently using Suave Clinical because it works best.For the first time since I started using organic deodorants like 3 or 4 years ago, this is the FIRST deodorant that doesn't burn my pits and cause irritation! I hate that most of the other brands use waaaaayyy too much baking soda which is the culprit for the irritation. You really only need like a pinch of that stuff, really. Which is why I was just a little skeptical about a brand without any baking soda at all. But OH MY! This deodorant does everything it's supposed to do without breaking my pits out in a rash and burning. And it smells amazing. Love the lemon scent. Smells yummy enough to eat. I also bought he Ylang Ylang. That one is a bit more of a neutral scent, but it still smells fresh. I started using this in a heat wave of over 90 degree weather. I did NOT stink at the end of my long work day, even after a 25 minute walk home. And if you need even more of a plus side, it's not as expensive as some of the other brands and it's a paste that comes in the average deodorant size stick so it lasts for a long time making it an even better bargain!

I have been struggling with finding a natural deodorant, that is baking soda free, that does not cause itchy, painful rashes and works with stress sweat without smelling "skunky". This is so far the best I have found. It's not perfect, and on really stressful days a hint of lemony skunk still comes through (which is so weird, because my natural stress sweat without deodorant does not smell skunky at all, just when I use natural deodorants).Anyway. This smells great, keeps me dry(I don't really perspire enough for that to be a real issue though), and it applies easily and smoothly. I have only used this for about a week now, but I also don't have the rashes I was getting after two or three uses with other brands. All in all, this is likely what i will be sticking with!

The lemon lime thyme scent is wonderful! I have worn it in a very hot kitchen for 10 hours and still smelled nice. However, I ordered it in August and didn't anticipate it melting during delivery. I want to keep using it but it's just so messy. I have tried keeping it in a cool place but it's still very soft even a month later. I find that I have to apply it with my fingers or else it goes everywhere.

I’ve used this for several days, to include during HIIT workouts. Overall it has held up pretty well, odor wise. I’ve yet to find a natural deodorant that works as good for me as a toxic deodorant. I sweat a lot so reapplying is a must for me, with any natural deodorant. I have very sensitive skin and no rash, so far. No discoloration at this point. So far, as good as it gets for my body chemistry and natural deodorant. This natural deodorant ranks in my top two out of all that I have tried.

Blocked my review because it was 1 star. I have tp change it to 5 stars or you can't see it.I really wanted to love this deodorant. It smells very refreshing in the container but doesn't last. Surprising it kept me from swearing and my pits were actually dry after 8 hours but sadly the smell mixed with BO was not worth the dryness. It just doesn't work the fregrance doesn't last more than a few minutes and my BO was on full force by the end of my work shift. I guess I'll go back to PPP as dark pits are better than musty pits

Looking for a great all-natural deodorant? Look no further! Believe me, I've tried SO many different kinds. This is really the best! I like it the best for these reasons: it doesn't stain clothes, it glides on super easy (no need to warm it up against your skin for it to be applied) it doesn't leave chunks, only a little bit is needed, it smells great, and it WORKS super well! If you are a pretty active person, you may need to apply it twice a day, but that is true with each and every natural deodorant you will find. I made the switch from Schmidt's natural deodorant to this because Schmidt's was posting political views on their facebook page. It annoyed me not only because I greatly disagree with the views they hold but because they are a skincare company...why would they take a stance on political views? it just seemed totally unnecessary to me. I was fairly happy with Schmidt's deodorant, and wasn't planning on switching. I'm SO happy I did though! This is so much better for the reasons I already stated!! I will never go back to Schmidt's because this one truly takes the cake as far as natural deodorants go. :)
