Meinel 3 Part F Alto Recorder

I wanted to get into reading and playing music again after giving up the classical guitar a few years ago. I always enjoyed playing the recorder at school and thought it would be a convenient way of picking up music again. I didn't want to be screeching my way along so did a bit of research and all advice pointed to buying an alto recorder, which has a much richer sound than a descant, the traditional pupil instrument. This recorder is a great starter, as it's cheap, (high end recorders cost thousands), sturdy and offers a reasonable sound. It comes with a nice case, grease and a pipe cleaner, although it's worth paying for a small maintenance kit to keep the wood in good condition.
