I got this power head for general use with my sump and also for salt mixing. It is a little bit on the large side, so I'm not sure I would like it in my main display, but it isn't bad too look at. So far it has been very useful. It does generate a strong current and is pretty quiet once it beaks in a bit. There is a small amount of humming but its quiet enough that I stopped noting it after a day or two. The suction cup is pretty strong and is really easy to attach and detach with the sliding clasp. The way it adjusts is also really easy to change and set. Lastly, it comes apart pretty easily and is just a few pieces, so its easy to clean if needed. If you aren't looking to spend a ton on a high end power head, this is a good buy.

Worst suction and waver head wont at all stand still. Its hard to place it under water and completely dissatisfied with this product

It really moves a lot of water, it's super powerful. I use it in my salt water mixing station so this is great, one drawback is that it has a suction cup base which I guess I didn't notice from the listing, I would have preferred a magnet.

I had a combo filter and wave-maker that made pretty anemic waves, but this one does a little better in a 10 gallon tank.You'll get better movement with a quiet motor.Sticks to the side of the tank and stays put!
