Live Loud, Love Loud

j. Iron Word's Live Loud, Love Loud isn't just "any" book of heartfelt poetry. To define it as such, would be limiting and in my mind, and an insult to the author himself. I received this book in the mail yesterday and read it cover to cover just today. I only recently discovered this poet through an Instagram feed which landed on my radar and was a bit awestruck by his first book of prose "Abstract Heart" and felt an immediate connection to the author's voice through his writing. I must say that while poetry is so personal as far as how it touches us, j. Iron Word's powerful means of expression through his short prose is perhaps his magic. He effortlessly moves the reader to feel the burning desire inside - one that is only experienced when we tear our veils down and seek truth in our personal trials, our pain, our hopes, and ultimately in the power of profound love at a soul level that's unmasked and naked.And as I read the words on each page from Live Loud, Love Loud my Heart was captured, my Mind was overtaken, yes, my Soul was moved as I read the four chapters titled: 1 Truths, 2 Being Human, 3 Her, & 4 Love. Mr. Word's work is Art in the form of poetry as the poems within are timeless, enduring, and in my mind Immortal. Everyone should have a private library of treasured books they love and j. Iron Word's Live Loud, Love Loud should be included. It's true that he is a modern day writer as his platform is best recognized on Instagram where he has thousands of followers, but to own a copy in printed form where one can flip the pages the "old-fashioned" way ---seems far more fitting for this modern day genius. You will be able to tell right away after reading just a few pages that the writing comes from deep within and the author clearly possesses on old soul, who may have shattered in the past, but turns these pains into hope for all to feel. And in that is the paradox he captures all so well: being broken is not a bad thing nor anything to be ashamed of, as it provides possibilities and opportunity for discovering the real meaning of being whole. This book is a must read for all --young, old, single, divorced, in love or not, black, white, rich or poor.... Love is Love and it Conquers All.I will follow j. Iron Word's work and have no doubt that he will be an important poet of our generation and in years to come. His work leaves a mark as it truly captures the essence of our spirit in the most humanly soulful and sacred way. For me personally, this is a book of poetry that will live inside me.....and a reminder that we are all worthy of Love. To be loved exactly as we are.

Found this author on social media and have been a big fan from that day forward. Both this book and Abstract Heart are gifts to be enjoyed. I have read this cover to cover any have reread nearly half of the pages several times. Bought my own copy and a second copy is on the way as a gift for my friend.

Great collection of poems, not to mention the cover absolutely is beautiful!! I honestly love the cover just as much as the poetry. The poems have a strong independent and sensual woman type vibe to them, I love it. I also enjoy that the author doesn't hold back on anything. It's full of highlighted pages of all my favorites. Would strongly recommend this book!!

J Iron Word is a favorite. He has command of the English language in such a way that he packs a powerful punch in so few words, you are left dazzled by his poetry. He speaks my heart, the true essence of romanticism. You will want to add this beautiful book to your poetry collection.

Beautiful words!

Good easy read. Pages look a bit empty and a text a bit too big. Looks as if I am reading preschoolers book :). But the words written are so true! They make you think and look deeper into your heart. The book helps you to analyse your past, present and see new perspective for your future.

Arrived on time. Its a gift so I assume a good read.
