Great product to use as bedding for baby tortoises. Amamxing price for the quantity, smells like fresh coconut husk, durable and allows you to store the rest. The only negative thing is that it’s hard to break prior to soak it.

I use this substrate for my blue tongue skink and my giant plated lizard. It takes in humidity very well. I won’t use anything else

Just as good as the name brands without the price

This product is more finely shredded than other coconut substrates I’ve used in the past but seems to be holding humidity well. The fact that is cheaper than other products with the same amount of substrate is a bonus. Overall this is a good product that performs to expectations.

Looks great and price reasonable

I used this block for SO many things and still had a ton left over that went into my compost. Worked great for my large red foot tortoise indoor enclosure, it’s soft and lightweight so it’s super easy to clean out the soiled areas. Mixed a bunch in with my different soil mixtures for indoor tropicals as well. Next time I would buy a smaller block because I still had many gallons of the stuff leftover and nowhere to put it. Will be great in the garden next year!

This product really isn't any good it's all fuzzy I did what the instructions said and still really fuzzy to much maintenance to keep it clean I fear for my pet snakes. No stars for me I picked one only because I had to.

I don’t usually use coconut chips for my snake enclosures but I’m so glad I tried it! My snakes absolutely love it! This block expands to a massive amount of substrate once you add the water and let it soak a while. Fluff it and separate it and put in the enclosures. Super easy and works well. I definitely will be using coconut substrate from now on.
