Perfect fitness watch
I’m a Garmin convert from Fitbit and never regretted it after what Google did to trash Fitbit when they took over. This Garmin is backed by a great app with sleep insights, HRV monitoring, resting heart rate monitoring and sleep quality to name a few. The step count is pretty accurate and the way it picks up elevated heart rate in exercise and stress is impressive. Primarily designed for runners, it gives hints and tips to improve performance and there’s a sleep coach too. I also like the interface and the fact I can choose my watch face (using my own photos - via an add on app). I’ve been using this for 6 months and having had Fitbits and 1 other Garmin (Vivosmart), this is the best I’ve used. It does all the other things like display texts and WhatsApp messages and its speciality is music control so it links to music and other similar apps on the phone. It has an emergency contact feature and things like sunrise & sunset times, walk tracking using its own GPS and elevation stats. I tend to charge this daily, so it’s always above 75%, and the only time it dips below that is if I have taken a five or six hour walk using the internal GPS tracking, which is higher battery use. Overall the battery use is pretty good. The reports after exercise are very helpful, pictured are the stats after a 7 mile walk. Not shoe (but always given) is the hours to recovery from an exercise which helps track when next to exercise and how hard. Finally I like its size - not to bulky on my smaller wrist and the colour is perfect for me.

Excellent
Had been using one of the better budget fitness bands for years and thought it was okay for tracking steps and recording hikes and squash. Followed a recommendation to switch up to a Garmin as I was completing couch-to-5k and planning to keep running. Had it a month now and can say it is worth every single penny. So much data, very clearly presented, with an excellent companion app. Unless you are (working towards being) an elite runner, the 165 model probably has all the features you will need. Apart from activity tracking and analysis, I have found the sleep data invaluable in helping understand when and why I sleep better/worse and the effect it has on me physically and mentally. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Great for Walking & Cycling too
I needed a watch for hiking & cycling. I am not a runner. This watch is great for all activities. Although aimed for runners it is excellent for walking, hiking & cycling. Not too bulky and light on the wrist. The menu is fully customisable so you can taylor it to your activities. The app is good. The sleep log is fantastic. Long battery time between charging. If use a walk activity so see how far you have gone etc is uses GPS that does use a little more battery but not excessively. It even has elevation reading. I would recommend looking at Garmin's own video to guide you through set up. Then you can taylor it nicely.

Great battery life, looks good but a little confusing to use
I bought this after having various fitbit devices for quite a few years. But after my last fitbit screen broke I decided to change to a Garmin to give it a try. So reviewing the watch is a bit difficult as it's like reviewing an iphone or android phone after having the other for years - it takes time to get used to something new. However what I can say is that I am very impressed with the battery life - over a week on a single charge with heavy usage. Also there is a lot of great functionality, some of which you had to pay extra for with the fitbit, or the phone app to view. Training plans are great and easy to use. I do however find the menu on the garmin less intuitive than the fitbit, and I find it more tricky to navigate my way around, but it is getting easier the more I use it. One thing I don't like is that it you start a run which is part of a training plan, but then have to stop - i got caught in a heavy downpour after running for a few minutes - there doesnt seem to be a way to stop and cancel the run. The only options I could see were save or continue. Other than that I like it.

Highly recommend
Perfect, fantastic, highly recommend! Ordered prime day and received same day. Battery life good with 77% left after two full days of use day and night. Good for my running and tracking data, comfy and fits nicely with a clear large screen

Problem with the seller
Item is ok. It's too big for my wrist but working fine. The service by this seller was not great at all. The email said the purchase was failed and asked me to pay again. I checked my bank and it was pending. I contacted the seller and told me the purchase was not going through. I got confused and I cancelled the purchase. Then, the email told me you cannot cancel as the item was despatched. Luckily, I didn't pay twice. If you would like to purchase the garmin, you'd better pay more and choose the other company.

Great GPS watch for runners that syncs with SG's Healthy 365 app (steps, mvpa, sleep)
I have been using a G-Shock GBX-100 for a couple of years now to track my runs but I also wanted to track my heart rate at the same time. This watch ticks all the boxes for me. - track steps - accurate distance (GPS) - track heart rate during runs bonus for me - running courses - coaching - resting recommendations - electronic wallet payment via Revolut (the only credit card supported in singapore) - basic navigation ie: direction/distance to a saved location - sync's with Strava and SG's Healthy 365 app - really bright visible day/night - uses standard quick release 20mm straps - charges very quickly via any USB C power source - lots more features as various apps can be downloaded into the watch, eg: compass, maps Charging is via a USB C cable that pokes into some exposed contacts at the back of the watch. The contacts being exposed to sweat/grime, I don't know how corrosion resistant those are. I had a "near" failure where it charged intermittently but fortunately it was resolved by cleaning the contacts.

Reloj maravilloso
