Sika Lastomer 710, Removable Butyl Sealant, 300 ml, White

Very very sticky and perfect for sealing roof light on caravans, highly recommend.

Used to redo a seal around a motorhome fridge vents. Difficult to apply, but does form a good seal and is not so difficult to remove should you need to dismantle the seal, which seems likely for the fridge vents. Has a slight tendency to flow, so seeps out the lower vertical joints, but is easy to neaten off. Though I wouldn't like to use this for all seals, but seals that are likely to be dismantled it's great for., easier to remove, old stuff has a bluetack consistency.

I haven't used it yet but this is the recommended product as an effective seal for fitting Fiamma roof skylights. This is why I bought it. I don't doubt it will be absolutely fine in conjunction with another sealant round the outside as recommended. Prime delivery was a day late, which seems to be a creeping feature of prime these days. That was annoying as the seller has a £5 premium over sika store which would deliver within a week.

Faulty tube couldn't use it

I used it to replace the mastic in the window frames. It doesn't tear away unlike a silicone sealant and so doesn't leak. Easy to use with a gun. Seems expensive but it is best for the job.

Lo use para sellar unos agujeros en el techo de mi autocaravana y después de 48h estaba bien fraguado . Es un sellante que no queda rígido y funciona muy bien . Fui al lavadero y le di en el techo con agua a presión y ni gota entra dentro. Ahora voy a colocar un tape de butilo encima y problema solucionado. Lo recomiendo para este uso sin dudarlo .

Arrivato nei tempi previsti. Ho usato il prodotto per sostituire un oblò di una roulotte come specificato dal produttore dell'oblò. Sono rimasto soddisfatto.
