Bought for gift for husband- we are young-ish, fit, healthy people and he loves it! I am not the best at putting things together, but I put this together myself and it was actually kind of fun. He loves a hot steamy shower and especially sometimes likes to sit down and relax, so now he doesn’t have to sit on the floor.Yes some reviews say it is small, it is a little smaller, but he’s 6’2” 215 lbs and it’s comfortable for him and it fits very nicely in our standard size shower. And when we don’t want to use it in the shower, it’s a nice cute little stool to put in the bathroom.So far it is holding up really well getting wet and drying quickly.All that said, this might not be the right choice for an older person or someone that needs the support of a shower chair like a medical shower chair. This has no back rest- something to consider.

UPDATED: The seller reached out to me to address my dissatisfaction. For this reason alone, I updated my rating to 5 stars. It's not often sellers on Amazon stand behind their product and want to provide full customer satisfaction. I kept the stool because the quality of the materials, packaging and instruction for assembly are outstanding. Also, because am recovering from a torn rotator cuff surgery and just easier than taking it apart and returning it, possibly repeating the process. My initial comment was due to the inconvenience of having to go out and find screws for finishing the assembly.________________________________Spa-like vibe. Overall, it seems like a pretty sturdy stool. Instructions are very clear. However, the screws -all the same size- are not long enough to secure the bottom shelf and the last four to secure the legs to the seat. You'll have to purchase these separately or keep returning the item until you get a package where all of the screws fit. Huge inconvenience.

I had to replace the stool in my shower and didn’t want to get another plastic one. I saw this and thought I would give it a try. I just love this item! It’s the perfect size for shaving my legs. It is strong enough to hold my weight if I need to sit to take a shower, it’s more compact than the hospital plastic ones, and it looks like a beautiful piece of furniture. There haven’t been any issues with it getting wet. I haven’t even seen any watermarks. It’s also easy to assemble.

This stool is very very nice. Good quality and sturdy. Nice to look at. I had to assemble it but I had no problems and I am NOT handy at all. I think even a monkey could assemble it. Took me about 15 minutes. I am more than pleased with this product. It is smaller than it looks but still very functional.

This is maybe the 5th stool/table I’ve ordered on Amazon for this purpose and by far the best! So many others have the screws showing on the outside and this one not only had them on the inside but also provided screw covers for an even more polished finish. Even with the better placement on the inside it was still easier to put together than the others, with an actual tool versus a cheap wrench that hurts your hands. Absolutely recommend one thousand percent.

Absolutely love this bench. I have a small shower and it fits perfectly. The assembly instructions were clearly written. I will recommend this bench.

Perfect for shaving my legs. My bathroom has a standing shower so it’s hard to prop my foot on anything. I usually had to shave in the bathtub. This makes it so much more convenient to do in the shower. Sturdy and the color is nice.

Beautiful teak stool but it sat a little bit low for my knee.
