Fascinating read!
This book takes you on a delightful and enchanting journey that will leave you craving more. It's a captivating tale that promises an immersive experience, where every chapter is filled with glamor, suspense, and unexpected twists. The great thing about Neill's writing is that he effortlessly transports you into a realm where the unusual becomes ordinary, and every turn of the page brings new surprises.I recommend it to those who like a bit of humor along with absurd characters! Definitely entertaining!

A Funny Yet Heartfelt Young Adult Novel
There’s much to love about this book. It’s quirky and funny, but also weirdly endearing. Reading it reminded me of classic young adult books from my childhood. The cast, though diverse, are humanized through their interactions with each other and the narration of their thought processes. We see their weaknesses and insecurities, somehow making readers root for the cast of otherwise-unrelatable characters.I will say, though, that, when you first read it, it’s a bit hard to understand everything that’s going on in the book without reading the others in the series, making it hard for newcomers to follow along. The book is still quite good, though. I would recommend it, especially to teenage readers.

Great ending to a great series
This is the 5th and final entry of one of the funniest love letters to the science fiction YA genre.I’ve read all of Mr. Neill’s books in this series and what never ceases to make me laugh is how well the cast stands out in the story, and how seamless the jokes and comedic actions are woven within the narrative. For example, in the first chapter I found it really funny how Troy kept mouthing the acronym of his training (because in my mind it sounded like a hilarious sound to make) but in a split second the same character breaks down into a crying mess due to past events in the story that I won’t spoil here. These moments of pathos, that are present throughout the book, make it easier to empathize with the characters’ plights.Mr. Neill managed to write Troy, Jax, Liam, Esmeralda, Mitchell and Jeanie in a way that their quirks as YA sci-fi characters stand out, but they feel human enough that you could almost feel them as if they were people you knew. This was the perfect ending to the series, and I felt myself really emotional that I won’t have anything as good to read as these books for a while.

Quirky and Beautifully irrelevant
This novel reads like an aged-up version of a book from the Tardy Boys’ series. Its humor is reminiscent of classic YA action comedies from the 2010s, although with quite a bit more swearing. Some of the jokes came across as corny to me, but I’m quite sure that they would land for their intended audience. Some of the characters are humanized from the get-go so it’s really easy to root for them. Others, I feel, had a rushed introduction, probably because the author expects readers to have already read about them in previous books.

Kind of a crazy fever dream...
Ok-I loved the concept of this book and was drawn into the plot right away. Who doesn't root for some teenagers trying to save the world? However, this book just constantly descended into crazy levels of "what is happening here". Demon bunnies wearing chaps? Yes. Krampus, Slender Man and what seems like every villain from any mythology and culture ever? Also yes. There were just so, so, so many demons and villains. In one sense, it was very interesting to see all of these different actual villains merged together, but there was just too much going on. There were also a lot of references to sexuality, gender identity and race. Maybe I am just in the wrong generation to read this book, but there were so many side bars about sexual attraction, tension, transgender, bi-sexuality, bad racial stereotypes, etc., I felt like I was trying to be shocked or lectured-I couldn't decide. In either case, mostly did not contribute to the plot and was distracting.I did like the characters and their friendship with each other. I did not read the earlier books, but I still understood what was happening in this one, although I do want to go back and read the earlier ones to figure the characters out more. The plot was definitely all action packed. Overall, I thought this was a truly interesting concept for a book, but I wish all of the distractions had been pared way down.

Really Good
Glam Rockers, Glitter Bombs, Murder Birds, & Emo Gods : My Semester Abroad at the End of the World (Snog Team Six Book 5) is a great story. There is plenty of action, and it’s one of the most imaginative books I’ve read in a long time. The nonstop dialogue is really well written, and I liked the characters of Jax and Troy especially, but there are quite a few good ones as I think about it writing this.I recommend this to anyone who wants a good story they can dig into and spend some time on. It definitely takes you on quite an adventure.
