I love this line of paints, brings a lovely but not overpowering iridescence to mixed media work. Love to use it with the Finebair Impastos. scrape this as possible layers of analogous colors with palette knife for interesting backgrounds.

Overpriced (even for $12). Better as a MEDIUM than its usage. DARK PURPLY BLUE is what this strange color is and takes several layers.Comes out to fast and the layers seek through. It also lacks shinyness I was looking for.. (dull). Is it black, is it purple is it blue? NO its strange darkly purple blue color. Not as pretty as midnight blue either so for me it doesn't do justice. So far I've only achieved success with it but using tip of the iceberg with a 1 different paint to make it darker, otherwise its useless paperweight & Id return it. Then again I've only bought this for experimentation and thisdidnt pass.

If you haven't used this before, please, buy this paint!!! I wish I could buy a truck load of it. Or at least I could get it in my local art store, but no such luck. It's only available online for me. These iridescent paints are incredibly beautiful, and THEY ARE NOT THE SAME EFFECT AS METALLIC!!! Iridescent, and metallic are totally different. Metallic is sparkly, and iridescent is more of a glowing,... I'm at a loss for words. It's incredible just know that. If you haven't decided, let this be your deciding factor.

COLOR FLOW UNEVEN. DARKER TONE of sea bluegreen. Constancy not great and thin coat. Takes 2 layers+ to get thicker (otherwise seek through), but even then why increase the weight?. DOES NOT MIX with others because the thininess and see throughs in color consistancy. So even if you try to brighten it the color flow will be uneven this must be a fault in the item.. Shineness and shimmer is good but thats it for what i can see. So if thats what your looking for get it. UPDATE: because of these flaws I had I dropped the rating down to 1 star.

More of a neon yellow with NO SHINE. Sorry Pebeo this color doesn't do it for me. And also several coats needed to get anything. I already tried mixing it with something else it doesnt make it better. Ill use this as a like a WHITE LIGHTENER. but thats it..So unless you need a neon yellow for your artwork and don't mind doing several coats I wouldn't recommend.

I was kind if afraid to spend good money for irredescent pain when most ends up sheer like florescents and only leaves shimmer. This paint is rich, fully pigmented, thick but not clumpy with a beautiful shimmer that has the correct hue for that shade. (Basically its not like how some colors maybe like a pink with a gold shimmer. ) It has a pinkish purple shimmer same as the color if paint. Perfect for thinning for fluid art btw. Looove it!

Pebeo descriptions really need to be more user friendly. You can only tell if the colour is transparent or opaque by viewing the larger image and checking the small box. Some (older/newer stock) don't even have the box. It's a lottery tbh and not very customer friendly. This must be the 4th or 5th I've bought that is transparent but nowhere does it say it in the listing. very annoying as the colour is beautiful and just what I wanted

I was positively surprised by how opaque this is given the price. Mixes well with other acrylic brands I own (I bought this white one particularly for this). Great stuff - don't be put off by the price.

good quality price is one of the best i found online and to compare with shops... the quality is quite good. I used it on his own and as well to mix it with colours and I am happy with it

I took part in the National Flower and Design Show in Islington, in a craft class, I painted dry seed heads to resemble flowers, which were arranged on a black and white background. As you can see above I came 4th out of 20,my shocking pink flowers were a success, thank you.
