Great Device but...
Build Quality: The device is well built. The plastic quality is pretty nice and well finished edges including the C type adapter and switches. There was no problem with attaching it to the OBD port. The pins are perfect!Functionality: There is a switch to control continuous vs. Accessories mode. In accessories mode, the power is cut after 20 minutes. This unfortunately drains the battery and if you do short runs, then it drains the battery a lot leading to dead battery. I wish they simply cut power as soon as the ignition is off or just a minute max. 20 minutes is too much. Simple calculation shows at this rate the battery dies in a little over 27 hours assuming the car has a 65 Amp hours battery. This is why we see reviews calling this out.Installation is a breeze. Plug the device into OBD port, connect the power to dashcam and off you go.I just wish there was a way to control how long power lasts as opposed to a hard coded limit of 20 minutes. Even with 5 minutes power supply, this is an issue.
