Snypex Infinio Focus Free 8x42 Binoculars,Green

I kinda wanna give this one 3 1/2 stars. There nice qualty and are a little lighter than the normal 8x42 configuration. Might be good for the hunter who needs to look fast with no need to fumble with any type of fucusing. They are in perfect fucus I would say at about 100 yrds with a large depth of feild, not good for less than 30 yards. Great for looking at something in near darkness as they will allways be in farly good fucus and the multicoating transmitts a lot of light. Seem to be a very sturdy made peice. Overall I like them and am keeping them. Great case and objective lense covers. No substitute for a center focusing set of binoculars though. A special thing with its own advantages. Any problems will be worse with the 10x, so please get the 8x..Snypex would do well to make this binocular in only 6.5x in my opion. Take note that I have good but 56yr old eyes. Julius

These inexpensive binoculars are fantastic. The optics are surprisingly good, and they're much brighter than more expensive binoculars I have. The focus-free feature is nice if you're looking at things that move fast. We use them for whale watching - you have only seconds to point the binoculars in the right direction, and you definitely don't have time to fiddle with a focus knob. Clear, bright, sharp, lightweight - perfect.

I had previously purchased the Snypex ED binoculars and was so pleased with them (in comparing them to my Leitz binoculars) that, when I wanted a less expensive set to leave in my car, I decided to try these fixed focus binoculars. I got far more than I expected: they are small (probably because they don't need a focusing system) and provide far better optics than I expected. These are not the cheap binoculars you buy at electronic stores and gift shops; they are real binoculars that provide a sharp, clear, bright image. They're certainly not the equal of Snypex's ED binoculars, but they cost half the price and give considerably more than half the value.

Received a pair of these Snpex Infinite Focus Free 8x42 binoculars as a gift and have used them every day since! We've taken them everywhere with us (trail hiking, to the city!, and watching critters in the backyard), and they've allowed us to feel much closer to wildlife! CRYSTAL CLEAR images... they are amazing. So durable and quite compact, too, with amazing quality! What I really liked about these compared to others is they were really comfortable on a recent 8-mile hike, and they survived a few tumbles. Was able to hook up the neck strap really easily & was good-to-go! I've been on 3 hikes since getting them and look forward to another this week. Thanks Snypex!!
