Great replacement cord
I am actually replacing the power cord on a Makita Plunge Router, and this Replacement Power Cord by Sousery is perfect for the job. I do like the fact that it is 9-feet long. In fact you could most likely use it to replace the power cord on many different brands and tool types, as long as you have some mechanical ability to sort out the electrical connections correctly. I do wish the strain relief fit a bit snugger on the cord, but it's not a real problem. I couldn't find a spec on the wire in the listing (and the photos show the strain relief on backwards, which is annoying) but the cord is marked 16AWG, which I personally do not consider "heavy duty", but it should be adequate for most tool applications. I does say in one of the photos that "This is a nice heavy duty replacement rope and if you have damaged your umbilical cord or are just relocated when it comes to relocation, I highly recommend you to replace it, very nice to install and you can't go wrong." Don't you just love Engrish? I do NOT recommend you use this product as a rope, and if you have damaged your umbilical cord please get medical help right away. Otherwise, if you have a portable shop tool and it needs a new power cord, this Power Cord by Sousery should serve you well.

Almost perfect
While not an exact replacement for my Makita saws , perhaps because they are from the 1980s, but easily modified to work.

Works well as a replacement cord
I used this on a very old portaband whose cord insulation had rotted away. It now has new life and is ready for another 30 years thanks to this cord. Well made and insulated. I'd recommend this to replace one in an unsafe condition. Great purchase!

Just like the original cord
Performs just like the original cord, and fairly easily to replace in the circular saw. Works great.

Worked for me on a Craftsman tool
It's a 10-foot 16-gauge cord. It seems like the outer insulation is substantial, as it should be for tool use, but still reasonably flexible. I used this to replace the power cord on a vintage Craftsman circular saw. The provided connections didn't work (not expected to either) but it was easy to install with the only catch that I needed to provide a strain relief for the cord.

Heavy duty replacement cord
I used this to replace a worn power cord on my Skill power saw. The cord is heavy gauge flexible and 9 feet long. Works great with no issues.

Not as flexible as a rubber-insulated cord, but a good 3-wire 9ft 16Ga PVC-insulated power cord
This makes a decent replacement power tool cord. I’m using it for my old Porter Cable belt sander. Just cut off the terminals and install whatever you need. It’s not as flexible as the original rubber insulated cord, but it will do, and the 9ft length is nice. It does the job, but for the price I would expect a better quality, more flexible cord.

Great quality replacement cable, not just for Makita
The power cable on my older Bosch miter saw is cracked and stripped where it meets the machine and no longer safe to operate. This is an exact replacement as far as looks go, with more length. Reasonably priced and well-made, what more can you ask for?
