Good price, Great product
In contradiction to the negative reviews, id like to say that I bought these lights to have a personal set of wands for marshaling aircraft. For doing just that these wands are perfect. I like the fact that they are small enough to carry on a clip on my side and the bonus was how the light can adjust its lensā brightness by the silver part that twists. I have not used the rechargeable battery because I didnāt really care for it too much. (Used 3 AAA Alkaline batteries instead) Iāve not tested it to the fullest yet but so far Iām satisfied. As far as the pricing goes, I was not expecting to spend $11+ for just one light but considering that marshaling wands are going up to the $40 range for two, I think a little over $22 for 2 wands are worth it.

Dead Battery
As soon as I opened it up I was thinking I got what I paid for, so I was actually happy since I didnāt pay much. I put in the rechargeable battery and set it on charge. The next morning I took it with me on the drive to work. I was rummaging in the trunk and thought I need some light. I grabbed my new flash light and found it dead. So much for my initial happy thoughts. So it is not rechargeable only alkaline. ā¹ļø

Inexpensive but handy flashlight
This review is for the "SE FL3654RC Deluxe 5-Watt Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight Set (300 Lumens)". The description says this light "is great for hunting, camping, emergencies, and everyday use."As someone who owns some high-quality flashlights I will say that, generally speaking, this is not one. It IS lightweight and does include a lot of 'extras', but the 'fit' and finish of this light are budget level. As with many lights of this style, the SE light employs a CREE LED die that is square, then 'magnifies' (or zooms) it with a rounded lens. Thus, at zero magnification, you get a bright square block. If you zoom it out, the throw becomes more rounded but also not as intense. You can choose between full and half brightness, and as noted you can zoom with the focus ring. You can also select a strobe option. This light is powered by your choice of either 3 AAA batteries, or the INCLUDED rechargeable battery (which also includes a USB charging CABLE -- not a charger). It has a crenelated bezel, which is probably more handy for making sure you don't leave the light on when setting it down on its bezel than it is a defensive weapon. This light includes light filters and a rubberized ring to hold them in place. THIS is where the light might come in handy for hunting. Because it is small, it would easily fit in your pack. The red light is invisible to most animals, which is good for moving into position in the dark. Green is also good for this purpose. The amber and blue filters are helpful when looking for blood trails. For me, however, I wanted this light for one important purpose -- the traffic wand! This small orange cone affixes to the light and turns it into an emergency wand/light! My teenage daughter already has a charger in her car, so I gave her this light and cable to put in her glove box. This way she can easily charge it, if needed, but it will serve as a great emergency light or beacon if needed.Overall, it's a decent little light. It's bright, but not out-of-control bright. The extras are nice-to-haves. The recharging option is really nice, as well (though unlabeled Chinese rechargeable Li batteries make me a bit nervous). A travel or carry case/bag would have been really helpful for keeping the 'extras' together. I have subtracted one star for that and the fact that the manual leaves some things to be desired (including size and proper use of English). I would like to see the price-point of this light be closer to $15, but it's not overpriced as it stands.

Go towards the (flash)light
Just before I saw this flashlight we had suffered a major blackout on our block and, since it happened on a perfectly clear night, we had not put our regular flashlights by the bed and had to stumble around till we found them; this one is the right size to keep near the bed and grab as neededAlso on the positive side are the brightness (it is REALLY bright) and the zoom feature which can be quite useful. I'm not sure how much real use I'll get out of the different filters or, since I don't PLAN to land any planes in my bedroom, the cone attachment.BUT, there are three problems that are of real, albeit differing degrees of seriousness; first, as others have noted, it would be nice to have something to carry all the doo-hickeys/dads/wahdiddeys that come with it (but, since, as noted, they aren't a major item for me...); second, and this may seem weird, there is no instruction booklet. Why, you may well ask, does a grown-up need an instruction booklet for a bloody flashlight? Good question! Because: A) It might tell him how long the rechargable lithium battery needs to get a full charge (there are no indicators) B) Where to find the (VERY tiny) +/- indicators on said battery, since, despite the picture on the box, the two ends looked awfully similar to me (they're hidden next to text and easily missed) and a host of other things.Third problem is the USB charger, itself, which is way too small to be plugged into almost any receptacle in MY house and left to stand... a longer lead would not hurt (and, yes, I know I can use 3 AAA batteries, which is noce, but beside the point.
