I am very satisfied with my purchase. This heating and cooling air conditioner is very quiet, making the best night sleep. The cooling is very well, making the room cool in an instant and keeps me comfortable. Same for the heating which keeps me warm and cozy when it gets cold. The thing that i am most fascinated about is how fast it heats/ cools my room! Also it saved a lot of energy and the crazy part is that the air conditioner still did a good job! The remote controller is very convenient addition to the air conditioner. If you’re on your bed and don’t want to get up , that’s fine! Just use the remote! All the buttons that are on the air conditioner is also on the remote controller! Another great thing about this air conditioner is how easy it was to install! I installed it all by myself and the instruction was very easy to understand.

This AC unit offers exceptional value for money. My favorite feature is the built in dehumidifier, which is perfect for rainy days when I want to take the moisture out of the air without blasting cold AC. ​Compared to my old unit, it is noticeably quieter and cools the room significantly better even at higher temperature settings. While some background noise is unavoidable, the sound is low enough to easily tune out. ​Installation was straightforward; just follow the included manual. Once fully secured, it doesn't require any additional rear support, which simplified the setup process. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. It was definitely worth the upgrade.

Live on the TX coast. Bought two of these air conditioners specifically because we wanted the heater/AC combo. Last winter, we discovered this AC unit's heater won't work when it gets below a certain temp outside, which is when you need it the most. This summer, as we were entering into a historic heat wave, the controls on the unit in our bedroom decided to randomly go crazy and start doing things like turning on the dehumidifier, cranking up the temp to above 80F, changing to Celsius, etc without our having touched the controls. Occasionally, resetting the power would allow the unit to reset itself so we could use it as intended, but it just today began to not recognize touch input on the control panel. When it worked, it did really well. It wasn't excessively noisy, it was as easy to install as any other window unit, it drains well, and is comparable in size to other units of that output level. It just stopped working like it was supposed to.

I bought this air conditioner a few days ago, and its very convenient. It has two modes: heating and cooling. Although I haven't used the heating mode much yet, I did try it out and felt that the warm air coming out was quite nice. The louvers can swing automatically, so there's no need to adjust them manually. This helps the cool air circulate throughout the room. The unit comes with a mobile app, which is super handy. Whenever I can't find the remote, I just open the app on my phone to control it. The machine runs very quietly, so it doesn't disturb my little baby at all. The cooling affect is excellent. I feel like my room gets cold enough. The display can be set to show or turn off. When you choose dark mode, the display turns off so it won'taffect your sleep. Overall, Im very satisfied with this air conditioner and think it's well worth it. I highly recommend this model, it also looks great!

I’m very happy with this window air conditioner. It cools the room quickly and keeps the temperature comfortable even on very hot days. The installation was pretty easy, and it fits well in my window. I also like that it’s not overly noisy, so I can sleep comfortably at night. The controls are simple and easy to use, and the cooling power is better than I expected. Overall, it’s a great air conditioner for the price and definitely worth buying. Highly recommend!

I bought this in late July 2024 and installed it around the hottest time of the year, august. Now it's November, colder. I wanted to experience using it in both hot and cold weather before writing my review. It worked great as an AC and heater. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet and efficient it is. It is noisier when using for heat as the heatpump seem to rattle when starting up. Once it is running for a few minutes, then it quiets down. The temperature sensor does not work. It seem to use the outside temperature and not the inside. In summer, it's 95+F outside, I have to set it to 75F to keep it from getting too cold in my office. In the winter, I have to set it to 72F as the outside temperature drops into the 50s to keep it from making my office too hot. I have a temperature sensor in my office that measure 78F degree, but this unit kept outputting heat. I had it set to auto and 74F, and one cold winter morning, I came into my office to a very hot 80F! Reducing it to 72F stops the heat. So it looks like this unit is using outdoor temperature to decide when to run. 2024/12/16 update - in heat mode, there is a deep bass hum from the unit. It works well though on cold days. It struggles when outside drops below 41F, but above that, it works well. Once Midea fixes the temperature sensor, I'll raise the rating, otherwise I am happy with it.

I purchased this 8000 BTU inverter A/C for use in a back bedroom that currently doesn't get a lot of heat from the main heat source. As a cooling unit, it's superb and maintains a pretty consistent temperature, although that temperature has little to do with the temperature it is set at. The same is true with the heating feature; the first time I tried it the room had stabilized at around 72 degrees while set at 64, and when I switched to heating mode it immediately started producing heat. This seems to be a constant; no matter what the setting is, when the heat is started it goes through a lengthy cycle before deciding whether or not to honor the setting. The heating function is apparently a true heat pump, meaning that it extracts heat from outside rather than generating it with a resistive heating element. This is good, because it provides about 3-4 times as much heat for a given wattage than a resistive heater would. Typically it draws 250-400 Watts while providing what feels like more than a 1500W electric heater, and I power it from a solar powered inverter. When providing heat, it seems like the actual room temperature depends more on the outside temperature than the thermostat setting, with 62 setting ranging from 64 to about 72, and 66 from about 65 to 75. Oh, and the heat cycle is quite LOUD. But the cost and efficiency of the unit make it worthwhile in my opinion, despite the temperature setting issues.

I'm very happy with this purchase. It cools my room quickly and keeps the temperature comfortable without having to run constantly. The heating function is also a bonus, especially during colder days. The controls are use to use, and I really likes the different modes and fan settings. It also has a clean, modern look and fits nicely in the window. Overall, It's a great all in one unit for year round use. Good cooling, But i have to reuse the heat during cold weather too see how it works. But It's excellent value for the price. Highly recommended. Especially how quiet the machine is.
