2012 Tiguan Hatch working again.
The tool provided was great. It went in easy on my 2012 Tiguan. Working great again. I had the torx head for the smaller area behind the plastic caps on the hatch plastic panel. But I did not have the torx head for the larger bolts holding the unit on the hatch. So, the tool provided was a big help. Others were cheaper, but had no tool included.

Good replacement item
It’s been a few months and it’s working fine. Does feel a bit lighter or looser than the original, but works fine and most importantly locks fine. Good substitute for the original lock. Also very easy installation.
