Which better for English Springer spaniel?** A: They both have the fine/coarse but the # 000 is longer, has longer teeth. I would go with the #000 for the English Springer Spaniel. **Q: # 003 is that right?** A: Nope, it's #006. **Q: Which comb is better for shelties?** A: I use this comb for my 16 lb. Havanese's face when his fur is shorter during the summer months, but use the larger one when he is longer haired. The larger comb has more spacing so it doesn't pull for larger knots and works better for longer hair. I find both of them very helpful all over! Highly recommend, don't pull as much as previous combs did. **Q: the combs I currently use are German made and excellent quality. This is not Chris Christensen comb. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by J***Z on 24 September 2025* I had almost given up. My cat has long fur with a THICK undercoat which I was not prepared to handle. I've tried a few different brushes, many marketed for thick undercoats, trying to get her coat under control but she either hated them, refusing to be brushed, or they didnt do anything. I wasn't expecting much from this brush tbh just looked like a metal comb i didnt think would do anything but wow it really worked! Her fur feels soft and looks great with no mats in sight. She also doesnt run away from this brush like she did others, its gentle enough that shes willing to put up with it while aggressive enough to really make a difference. Seemed expensive but worth every penny. Quality construction, should last a lifetime.
