Can it be used for auto sanding

Yes. However, we do not sell 4" sanding discs for this unit. You'd need to find a 4" sanding disc that has a hook-and-loop backing for it to work with the buffer.

What charging voltage does it require?

Uses two 3.6 batteries and runs on 7.2 volts DC
