Shadow Diplomacy: Lev Parnas and his Wild Ride from Brooklyn to Trump’s Inner Circle

An excellent book
I was absolutely impressed with the narration and detail of Lev's journey from his early days in Brooklyn to where he is and to what he is today. I absolutely recommend the reading of this book to anyone that wants to know about American politics under the Trump administration and the dirty tricks that they employed on a daily basis to get what they wanted, no matter who they might destroy in their obsession with doing that.

Brilliant
A cogent narrative of the events leading to the first impeachment of Donald Trump and the misdeeds of some of his closest allies. Gripping. A must for those wishing to understand the perils of 'Trumpism'.

Thank You For Your Truth
I love how Lev provides an inside view to the corruption that many of us suspected was true. It takes a lot for someone to admit when they’ve made mistakes and it’s obvious that Lev is committed to bettering himself and telling the truth. I hope more and more people can wake up like he did and do the right thing.

Shadow Diplomacy
Dry read, however, it’s shocking to read how politics play out among criminals. I am shocked how we as a society allow political criminals get away with stealing, lying and cheating. Makes me extremely upset to know their crimes are rarely punishable.

Fascinating and mind-boggling.
Fascinating and mind-boggling insights into international corruption, and the power of money in US politics. Spoilt a little by poor editing and many typos.

An Enjoyable, Intense, Authentic Truth
I am a political junkie - I admit it.To get The inside look into The Perfect Call (the most oxymoronic naming of anything, ever- byThe Perfect Moron itself) and everything that led up to it...presented naturally and urgently by Lev Parnas', a fascinating character in his own right, was just too good to pass up.Mr Parnas' voice, throughout the book, is definitely his own. His Brooklyn Jewish streetwise voice, with telltale hints of Eastern European cadence- words that are just a touch different than we usually get to hear, make it so much better than if they'd let an editor 'polish it up' is so authentic -it's just like hearing him read it; which I'm sure he does on Audible(which will be my next listen)This is not just about me enjoying a good read, however. To be on the inside, seeing the precise procession of one of the most horrifying crimes of our or any time, was amazing! How Giuliani went from being perceived as America's Mayor to the slimy thing that he's become-as well as seeing the golden curtain pulled aside, getting a revealing view of those horrific 4 years, from the eyes of a true believer- which Lev Parnas was (until his betrayal)the whole thing is fascinating, warm and so well told. Do yourself a favor-Enjoy this fast paced true political tale.

A Fascinating Read
Reading this book was like a walk down a political memory lane. It was interesting to put all the news stories of those times back into perspective again. And what becomes crystal clear is just how insidious the network of corrupt political operatives is. All the same names we see today, still playing the same destructive games. Congratulations for telling your important and extremely interesting story. I believe you Lev. I would have given a 5 star rating, but unfortunately your editor let you down. Way too many typos in the copy looks unprofessional, and the cover isn’t great. BUT, that doesn’t take away from the content, which was excellent.
