I used this to cover the lights in my toddler's bedroom. She was starting to get distracted by all of the lights. It's so nice and works so well. It was really thin when I took it off the roll and I was concerned if it was going to work, but you can't see a thing. It stuck over the round button very easily. My only complaint is that it's hard to get the paper off of the back of the tape. A perforation down the middle or something like that would probably be helpful. But the roll is huge for the price, and very worth it.

Literally all i needed perfect!

The tape blocks light perfectly, but is a bit of a hassle to apply. The tape comes with an inner layer that needs to be peeled off as seen in the preview picture, which greatly slows down the process of taping large surface areas.

Perfect for blocking blue light coming out of appliances and internet modem boxes.

It works—enabled a totally blacked-out bedroom with each true light-blocking materials I used. It covered my mistakes and made it easy. It’s also perfect for little lights on air cleaners, surge protectors, etc. I owe my best sleep to this tape!

This tape completely missed the mark. It barely reduces brightness — definitely not strong enough for covering LED lights or anything meant to block noticeable glare. It just mutes the light a little, not dims it in any meaningful way. ❌ Adhesive Is Weak It doesn't stay on. I tried it on several surfaces — plastic, metal, even glass — and it kept peeling up. For something that's supposed to be left in place long-term, that's a huge letdown. ❌ Hard to Apply Cleanly It wrinkles easily and traps air bubbles, so even if it did work well, it doesn’t look neat. Not usable for any surface that’s visible. Overall: This tape didn’t live up to the promise at all. Weak stickiness and barely any dimming. Definitely would not recommend.
