He Can’t Cycle Without These!
Yeah yeah yeah, if you’ve read any of my other reviews on Pearl Izumi, you know that I am a fan. Just so you know, here is one of my reviews on the women’s bibs:If you are into cycling at all, you probably know the name, Pearl Izumi. I had heard of the brand long ago and have had a few of their items in the past, but I’ve never tried their bibs before. I had already had some of their shorts and tops in the past and love them. So I knew that the quality was there, but friends had raved about their bibs so I decided to give it a shot and order these. Was glad I did! I am utterly amazed at the difference a pair of bibs make while you’re cycling. And the Pearl Izumi are so comfortable and well-made that I don’t think I’m ever going to sway away from the brand. These stay in place everywhere. They’re a comfortable compression without being constrictive. They move with your body without restricting it. They launder beautifully. Your skin can breathe, so you don’t feel overheated or soaked and sweat. And with the bibs, everything stays in place. You don’t have to keep pulling down a top or readjusting shorts - There’s even silicone grippers on the bottom of the legs of the shorts so they do not go anywhere! It’s all one piece and you can ride comfortably. Now with these bibs, there’s actually some reflection on them so if you ride in the evening or night, you’ve got a little extra there to be seen. And don’t forget you have the absolutely wonderful padded crotch. I don’t know what I do without that extra padding. Actually, I wouldn’t be a cyclist without it. But Pearl Izumi’s padding is long and wide, so you have plenty of coverage, and it’s nice and thick so you have plenty of softness. So now, the men’s bibs that we have here. My man had never experienced Pearl Izumi like I have. He was a cycle short and tank top type dude. Personally, I don’t know how he rode without padded shorts, but that’s a different topic. So what I did is just go ahead and order these for him and proceeded to make him try them. And as the cliché goes, the rest is history. Now, he will not cycle without them. One thing I did notice with these that’s different than the women’s is the padded area is definitely designed for a Man. So if you’re concerned about that, don’t worry, they got you covered. But as far as the quality is concerned, you can read my review above for the women’s and it’s the exact same thing. Pearl Izumi is high-quality comfort and made to last. We now swear by them.

Great fitting and feeling bib.
I recently got into long distance cycling, and finding a bib has been kind of a problem. This one has finally checked all the boxes for me. It's soft and feels great, with no issues with itching. Overall, it fits really well, where others have run a little small or too large. I've done some eight hour rides without any chafing or riding - it's honestly pretty perfect.

Nice Bib Shorts, Good Chamois, Comfortable
PEARL IZUMI's attack line is my favorite line of their bib shorts, they're great for longer rides and those competing in events as the chamois is well made, comfortable and it has all of the features you'd expect in a bib. However, I will say their attack air line is a step above these. As far as comfort goes, I believe it's about a 4 out of 5, I can ride all day on the attack air's while these are great for training rides and about 40-60 miles. They ride a bit warmer than that of the air's and as such do cause a bit of core temperature rise as they don't allow as much cooling. This can also be a good thing at times if it's a slightly cooler day but core temperature can quickly burn you out if you're not acclimated. Also for the price difference between these and the air's I believe puts these to where they're not that great of a value as I'd likely expect these to be a a fair amount less expensive but at the time of writing this review it was a mere $20 and given the difference I think it's much more worthwhile to upgrade to the attack air's instead.

Quality is everything!
So I normally wear an extra large in my Cycling clothes, which is significantly tighter than my normal pants. These were a little more snug than usual, but they will give slightly and become more comfortable with multiple uses. Just give them a chance. Despite their price tag, they are absolutely worth every penny. You will spend. The quality is everything and quality with this company is never lacking. I am very happy with the material and with the performance of the cycling shorts. Now I just need to find a great jersey to go with it.

Well made and comfortable bib shorts
When I received these and before I put them on, I could already tell they were well made. They are high quality and look amazing. I have a number of bib shorts from various Italian brands that cost more than these, and these don't seem any less in terms of quality and comfort. I did a long ride in these and they were also very comfortable. Just with any bib shorts, when you first put them on they seem to be very tight and maybe a size or two too small, but don't be afraid of that and give them a few minutes and they become more comfortable. They also went through the wash with no issues or shrinking. Overall I am very happy with these and recommend them.

Stretchy, comfortable and breathable
Prior to getting this bib, I had only used cheap ones from Aliexpress before. After putting the bib on, it was immediately evident to me how much nicer this bib was. The material and construction is so much more smooth and the chamois feels so much more anchored and integrated, instead of floppy. It took a bit of effort to get them on and situated since the leg hole of the bib is grippy to not ride up or down unintentionally. There is at least 2 inches of this grippy part and surprisingly not that different feeling than the rest of the bib, except that it is more compressive at the opening.Overall, I really like this bib. It doesn't have any weird spots that poke me or give me discomfort like I've experienced from cheap junk. Granted, this bib is not super affordable, but the quality is definitely there. Can recommend if you want to step up your comfort.
