Would this item help thicken toe nails?

No this product is not designed to thicken toe nails. It is specifically designed to soften calluses.

Why does the directions tell you to wear gloves? Is that necessary? It is going on your skin anyway.

I would recommend wearing gloves. However as long as you wash your hands right after with soap you would be fine. You do not want to leave it on non calluses skin.

Works great on stubborn calluses

This gel softens tough calluses very effectively and makes them much easier to remove. I noticed a big difference after just one use. You ll need a small amount per use and the bottle should last for quite a while. It's easy to apply and leaves my feet feeling much smoother. I would definitely buy it again.
