Sheath is cheap
The pliers are really good quality it’s a shame the Sheath belt strap is cheaply made, this is why I’m giving this three stars.

Got this as a gift and they loved it. They’ve been using it for a few months now with no issues.

Great angle, easy to use
Perfect angle to remove hook from ocean fish mouths while hanging over boat side. Put lanyard around wrist so you can't drop.

Not that great
I am an every weekend kayak fisherman 15yrs(year round rain/shine/whatever). Not a big fan of these pliers. The grabbing tips don't align and makes it almost impossible to take hooks out when they are set deep. Killed more fish than I care to admit with these pliers. I think there might be a way to realign them back up but looks a little complicated and should not be like this straight out of the box. They seem to be made of good materials and have not corroded on me at all. I will probably try to fix these and use them as a spare when I take ppl out. UPDATE: Notified Bubba Blades and within 2 days are sending me a new one. GREAT customer service. I will try out the new ones and update my experience. Maybe I just got a lemon on the first go around. It happens.

Outstanding pliers!
Fishing is a religion for me. That being said, I use these things practically everyday. They hold up outstandingly well to the salt environment. I love the pistol grip style for reaching and surgically removing deeply embedded hooks and lures. This is an outstanding product.

Bent jaws...
After 1 day of use, the jaws bent a little. The cutters work well, and the grips are decent. I do not believe these piers are a good choice for salt water fishing.

Be sure to stay on top of tightening the screw
Great set of pliers if it weren't for that screw coming loose all the time and making them pinch crooked.

Terrible
Terrible. Didn’t even last a season. They twist so bad and the jaws don’t line up making them useless. Shure you can align them but it won’t last one hook.
