Polaris Aquanought Backpack 30L – Green, Black

The Polaris Aquanaught rucksack, is basically a watersports, roll-top dry bag, with a padded, adjustable rucksack frame attached. It is fully waterproof, as claimed, and features a seperate pocket for smaller items which has a zip fastening, and this also keeps all water out. Add to this the hi-visibility colour (Fluo yellow, although it is available in black or white also), and it makes winter cycle commuting and lightweight touring practical and safe.

On whole very good - loads of space, comfy, great colour to be seen . Main compartment fully waterproof but water gets into the zipped pocket, so beware! But overall great product if a little pricey.

Very comfortable when commuting

Disappointed with the way fron tpanel has begun to come away from other panel which it was glued onto. Can't really glue it back together. Expensive, so thought it would be more robust.

Image and description are out of date. Latest version does not have detachable padded waist straps. Instead, the waist straps are permanent and have no padding. The elasticated shock cords are also no longer present. It does however feature a hand strap for mounting a light onto the bag.I contacted Polaris directly and they confirmed the above. I have attached images to show differences.The bag itself seems well constructed and very spacious. I cannot imagine you would find a more water proof bag for commuting!

Quite Heavy, and easy to split the outer surface with continuous bending over of the top when fastening it. Is waterproof.
