Review: Muy bueno relacion costo y beneficio - Muy buen sonido aunque se pudiera mejorar mas con altavoces laterales de mas calidad y potencia aveces se quedan un poco cortos los de serie al subir todo el volumen Review: Great starter set up - Great starter system. Fairly easy to set up, but the sound quality is loads better than the sound bar set up I had before. For the price I don't think there's anything that compares. Granted, it's not the same as getting a Sonos or Klipsch setup, but it's also thousands less than either of those will run you. Definitely worth considering if you're on a budget. ## Features - Powerful 80-watt 5.1-channel surround sound system - 4K60, 4K120AB and 8K60B HDMI 2.1 with HDCP 2.3 and eARC (4 in/1 out) - Dolby Vision, Hybrid Log-Gamma and BT.2020 - Supports Enhanced Media and Gaming - ALLM, VRR - YPAO Automatic Room Calibration - Perfectly matched speaker cable for each speaker ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0973M92QD | | Audio Output Mode | Surround | | Bluetooth support? | Yes | | Box Contents | One AV receiver, four surround speakers, one subwoofer | | Brand | Yamaha | | Brand Name | Yamaha | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Devices | Smartphone, Tablet, Personal Computer, Game Console, Television, Amplifier, Speaker | | Compatible devices | Smartphone, Tablet, Personal Computer, Game Console, Television, Amplifier, Speaker | | Connectivity technology | HDMI | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 372 Reviews | | Item Dimensions | 88.9 x 88.9 x 38.1 centimetres | | Item Weight | 54 Pounds | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 88.9 x 88.9 x 38.1 centimetres | | Manufacturer | Yamaha | | Manufacturer Part Number | YHT-5960UBL | | Model Number | YHT-5960UBL | | Network Connectivity Technology | HDMI | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Speakers | 6 | | Speaker Type | Surround | | Speaker type | Surround | | Style Name | Wi-Fi Receiver Theatre | | Surround Sound Channel Configuration | 5.1 | | UPC | 027108110172 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Yamaha - **Colour:** Black - **Compatible devices:** Smartphone, Tablet, Personal Computer, Game Console, Television, Amplifier, Speaker - **Connectivity technology:** HDMI - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 88.9 x 88.9 x 38.1 centimetres ## Images ![Yamaha YHT-5960U Home Theater System with 8K HDMI and MusicCast - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81xvwMwn9cS.jpg) ![Yamaha YHT-5960U Home Theater System with 8K HDMI and MusicCast - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71DDqrs+7QL.jpg) ![Yamaha YHT-5960U Home Theater System with 8K HDMI and MusicCast - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ANdw1cxIL.jpg) ![Yamaha YHT-5960U Home Theater System with 8K HDMI and MusicCast - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61dGvPLqcHL.jpg) ![Yamaha YHT-5960U Home Theater System with 8K HDMI and MusicCast - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/815rworYATS.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What’s the model number of the included subwoofer?** A: The model number on my sub for this unit is SW050. This system sounds awesome. **Q: Is speaker wire included?** A: Yes, included. But I replaced it for thicker wire 16- gauge when I installed speakers constantly on walls. **Q: Can I mount them on the ceiling?** A: Thanks for your question. Each speaker has a keyhole opening in the back to allow for easy wall-mounting. The keyhole opening is not suitable for ceiling mounting. World Wide Stereo is 43 years old and a proud authorized Yamaha dealer. **Q: Can wireless speakers be used for back speakers** A: Only if you can install transmitter module on the receiver for rear speaker channels. Great starter set up *by N***R on 14 June 2025* Great starter system. System powers on but no signal to the TV. Change cable and also to another HDMI device, no input signal reported there also. This after turning the system off at the power outlet and on again. Lasted just under two years. ## Frequently Bought Together - Yamaha YHT-5960U Home Theater System with 8K HDMI and MusicCast - WALI Speaker Wall Mounts, Bookshelf Speaker Wall Mount Brackets, Surround Sound Speaker Mounts, Hold up to 7.7 lbs, (SWM402), 4 Pack, Black - Amazon Basics Speaker Cable, Easy Assembly, 16-Gauge, Bronze, 100 ft --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/609755431-yamaha-yht-5960u-home-theater-system-with-8k-hdmi-musiccast](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/609755431-yamaha-yht-5960u-home-theater-system-with-8k-hdmi-musiccast) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
