No complaints at this price.
Love this pedal and would have paid twice as much as I did and still consider it a good buy. It works very well and has an impressive amount of configurability. It sounds very vintage through my Fender Mustang amp driven by a Gretsch Electromatic solid-body with P90s; very authentic sounding rockabilly and surf-rock. It’s super easy to use and is built like a little Tonka truck. I’d say this pedal is a great way to dip your toe into guitar effects on the cheap, but good enough to hang on to and gig with (I did).

Really good delay/reverb and a great value
In my opinion, this is a very solid delay/reverb pedal for really low money -$55. I am running this after a Truetone Rte 66 compressor/overdrive and just before a Keeley Zoma reverb/tremolo. The pedal board output feeds a Carl Martin Ampster as an amp-less set up with an XLR out to the board. I am using the Zoma for the base reverb effect and obviously for when I want some tremolo. The Sonicake is really good for a lot of soundscapes. The reverb is more like a hall reverb with a pretty long decay and creates a good ambient-type sound - especially when stacked on the Zoma reverb. Because you can turn on the delay and keep the reverb off for the Levitate (separate on/off switches), I can set up for running a short delay into the Zoma for some interesting deluxe reverb tones with an old school rockabilly/country feel. The other big plus is having both wet and dry signal control knobs for really dialing in just the right blend of effect for the music. I really like this pedal and can't believe the price. Yeah- you can buy a separate delay and reverb from some well-recognized brands, but this is probably 1/4 of what you would pay for those. And I don't believe you will be getting 4X the sound quality - in fact I would bet it may be hard for most to tell the difference. I am really happy with this purchase.

Quality product, great for experimenting.
This was the first Sonicake pedal I ever purchased, a little over year ago, and I still love it. The reverb is lush and spacious, and the delay is remarkable. The controls are intuitive and offer a fairly broad array of settings. This pedal opened up the doors of delay and reverb for me, helping me to better understand both and giving me just enough tools to explore those sounds. This pedal helped me fall in love with reverb, and so I eventually purchased a Strymon Big Sky (I still use the Sonicake delay/reverb, as I like stacking the reverb effects.). If you're looking for something to experiment with and don't want to pay Big Sky prices, this is a great option. Build quality is solid, sound is on point, and I'm still in love with this pedal.

Excellent Preamp/Drive pedal
This is a review of the Sonicake B-Factory Bass Preamp pedal. I've been looking for quite some time for an inexpensive pedal that I can use for recording and to replace my outdated Eleven Rack. This is the first pedal that I believe I could take to a gig or jam and plug into front of house. I've been using it since I got it plugged directly into a mixer, which goes to a pair of 12" FRFR amplified speakers. One thing, the switchable drive circuit only operates when the preamp is enabled. The drive circuit gives the bass just enough snarl so it doesn't disappear into a recording mix. For applications or recordings requiring a pure bass tone, the preamp definitely delivers. With my Precision Bass and the preamp, I can get tones that sound very close to an upright bass. This isn't set up to emulate multiple amps. Without the drive circuit, you get a very clean bass signal, reminiscent of the late 60's Bassman amp/cab rigs (not the older tweed model). With the drive engaged, it sounds more like an SVT. But you can probably find something you like with the tone combination and judicious use of the drive circuit. The only negative I've found with it is the output doesn't appear to adjustable enough to replace the preamp on a bass amp. I've hooked it up to my old Bassman 100 solid state amp through the power amp input, bypassing the amp's internal preamp and while the sound quality is excellent, it just doesn't have enough signal to fully drive the amplifier. It would be nice to have a switch so the 1/4" output could be changed from instrument level to line level. I'm very happy with this and highly recommend it to others.

Cheap, but performs like a champ
Delivery was fine. The packaging was adequate. The pedal itself is phenomenal. I can adjust the tone in ways where I don't have to buy a set of pickups for a particular desired tone. Its a "must have" pedal. While the product was easy on the budget, it still performed without issues.

Great $$$ value….
I’ve bought 3 A Factory pedals so far. They’re great reverb XLR DI preamps for practically any piezo based acoustic instrument. I use em across guitars, Dobro and Mandolin - punching well above its weight class. The reverb sounds better than what’s on my Fishman LoudBox as well. Great $$$ value…

Weak effect sounds
Very weak effect sounds. The tremolo was decent. But the phaser and chorus were both almost non existent. I heard really great things and it sounded good in videos, so maybe just my amp or guitars, idk. I will say the construction is nice, the knobs feel good, it has a dedicated tap tempo which is cool, and it even comes with some velcro in the box. but i’d rather spend a bit more for a nice chorus or phaser instead

Great little Acoustic pedal!
I got this little pedal for my acoustic guitar as a preamp and DI. I have used the LR Bags pedal that the church bought. It was to expensive for my pocket. I decided to give this one a try. It sounds great. Added bonus of having a built in reverb. It adds a nice bit of texture to the acoustic. Great pedal for the money!

The reverb is good but the delay is not true tone, it has phaser when activated.
please include the phaser sound to the description first.

Awesome value on a great reverb/delay pedal
This is a great sounding pedal. Very adjustable and easy to get the sounds you are looking for by combining the two effects. Either set reverb first and then delay or vice versa and you will get a sound you like. Very good for 80's rock sounds. I added a chorus and eq pedal in front of this one and you can get all the great classic rock sounds from that combination. Best value in a reverb and delay pedal I have ever found. Beats the reverb on my new, state of the art combo amp all day long. This one is a keeper for sure!

ABSOLUTELY TOP QUALITY.
I'd give this pedal 6 stars if I could, it's absolutely top quality for very little money, from authentic sounding Pink Floyd type delay/reverb to almost anything you can think of it delivers with clarity. It's also sturdily built and should last for decades. Sonicake have surpassed themselves. Highly recommended.

Great pedal för the price
För the price, this is easealy a 5 star purchase. Pedal feels robust and sounds great. Great for long delay sounds or deamy landscapes. If you are looking for a simple delay with long delays look no further. Highly recommended.
