Haven't had any issues with water sneaking in where it shouldn't. Installation was mostly straightforward, 'specially with the included ferrules for my 6-gauge wire and the handy hex wrench for the set screws. The instructions could use some work though - had to do some Googling to fill in the gaps. One thing to note - the mounting holes on the receptacle are a smidge small. The provided screws get the job done, but if you wanna use your own hardware you might need to break out the drill. Not a dealbreaker, but something to plan for. The waterproof cap is also a bit persnickety. It's a super snug fit, which is great for keeping water out but can be tricky to get on and off.
