Watch & record the action inside this Birdboxview nestbox on your pc/laptop as garden birds lay eggs and bring up their chicks! The solid cedar box is ready fitted with a mini 6 LED webcamera. The 1.5m camera cable is extended to 11.5m/37ft by the 10m active repeater usb2 extension cable. A plastic sheath is supplied to protect the cable join and light switch from wet conditions. The Birdboxview nestbox is 31 cm tall to give a good view of the nesting area. Its 28mm entrance will suit small garden birds such as sparrows, most tits and pied flycatchers. The box lid unscrews for camera focus/angle adjustment and box cleaning. Webcamera is powered via its cable to the pc/laptop and gives real colour even on overcast days. The camera is fitted in the best position for viewing nest area & has built-in microphone. Camera features HD cmos colour sensor for quality colour images & light control switch just outside the nestbox. (Camera should be turned off at night at pc/laptop as constant camera lighting will disturb the birds sleep pattern). The webcam is works with Windows and Mac systems. Wife is pleased with Christmas pressie.
Looks good and reasonably well built - good long lead and worked as soon as connected to computer, very easy. Superb after sales service, we had a very minor problem resolved within 48 hours directly with supplier. Looking forward to first guests.

A good starting point
A good present perhaps, a nice idea and starting point but if you are looking for quality camera set up with great audio and colour this is not it. My dream of owning my very own little springwatch nest box will have to wait. The seller is lovely though and they did their best to help me out..
