The media could not be loaded. I was back and forth between the various "brands" out there for heat set insert tips and just decided to go with this one as it stated it would work with the standard Weller soldering iron. Everything worked fine and installation was a breeze, it was just a matter of removing my old soldering tip and inserting this tip. I do like the swapable tips over the set tips as this makes it easier to work with various sizes. This was my first time using one of these and honestly it was straight foward, just line up your insert, let the soldering iron get to temp and press your insert in. For the price I paid, it works for what I need.

These tips worked great with my Hakko iron for installing threaded inserts into 3D printed parts. The fit is snug, and the heat transfer is solid — inserts go in clean and straight. Having all the common sizes in one set is a huge plus. If you're doing any kind of functional 3D prints, these are a must-have.

Nice little kit. Does not fit Weller WES51 irons. I assumed all Weller tips are similar and was wrong.

As advertised. Fits my Weller soldering iron and specified inserts perfectly. Nice compact package with storage case that easily fits in box with soldering iron.

These make installing heat-set inserts so much easier. The tips fit perfectly, both on my soldering iron, and within every insert I have tried. They transfer heat well, and help me keep them square to the outer surface. I feel like I get a lot more control by using these instead of the regular soldering tip already on the iron.
