Works great. Sparse instructions included so read this for instructions
Works well. Wrap the material, pushing the tail of the metal tie through the metal buckle similar to traditional plastic cable ties; feed that tail through the front slit of the "gun" and once the nose of the gun is all the way to the material, trigger the handle to tighten. Then, lift the metal rod to the side of the head of the gun, and it cuts nicely. To re-use, they include a tool that looks similar to a little screwdriver, with a little tapered paddle at the end; not from the front where you fed the metal tail through, but from behind, slit this device into metal bucket then pull on the metal strip and it'll open again! Neat feature, so only cut if that makes sense for your application and if you can use short ones should you ever reuse. They also i crude shears that say they can cut metal and leather, and a pair of gloves as well as a carry case. Awesome! Love this.

Sturdy and Versatile Stainless Steel Zip Tie Gun
Timely Delivery: The product was delivered promptly, which is always appreciated. Strength and Durability: The stainless steel zip ties included in the kit are impressively strong. They provide a robust alternative to regular plastic zip ties. Whether you’re securing cables outdoors or need a heavy-duty fastening solution, these metal ties won’t disappoint. Ease of Use: The tie gun itself is straightforward to operate. It’s as easy to use as regular zip ties, making it accessible even for those new to these tools. Heavy-Duty Design: This kit is built for tough tasks. If you’re dealing with applications where plastic zip ties might weaken due to weather fluctuations or other factors, the Heavy Steel Tie Tool is an excellent choice. It’s designed to withstand the elements and provide a long-lasting solution. Versatility: While zip ties are often considered temporary fixes, these stainless steel ties offer versatility. Use them when you need a permanent, reliable fastening solution. Whether it’s securing cables, organizing equipment, or even creating a sturdy support structure, these metal ties have you covered. In summary, the Heavy Steel Cable Tie Tool is a must-have for anyone who values durability, strength, and versatility. Not sure what to get the person who has every tool, then this is the gift. Might not need it now, but they will have it when they need it. I hope this review helps potential buyers make an informed decision! 🛠️💪

Surprisingly Durable "Quick Fix" for Exhaust Repairs
I originally bought these as a temporary solution to reattach a rattling heat shield after the original hardware rusted away. I had first tried stainless steel hose clamps, but they wouldn't open wide enough to wrap around the shield and exhaust, so I pivoted to these. Key Highlights: Better than Clamps: Because these open completely, they are much easier to maneuver into tight spots where a traditional hose clamp won't fit. Longevity: While I expected these to be a short-term patch, they have actually lasted much longer than anticipated. They’ve held up through heat cycles and road vibration without loosening or snapping. Silent Results: They pulled the shield tight against the pipe, immediately stopping the metal-on-metal rattle. Installation Tip: These stay put once they are locked, so make sure you have them positioned exactly where you want them before pulling them tight. You'll also want a good pair of wire cutters or tin snips to trim the tails. Bottom Line: What started as a "quick fix" has turned into a reliable, long-term repair. Highly recommended for high-heat automotive applications.

You will be glad you have these on hand.
Good for many uses especially when you need zip ties to last with outdoor use. The tie tool works well, the only problem I have run into is sometimes it is to big and awkward in tight places. I have found that a good pair of needle nose pliers and snips get the job done in tight spots.

This Was a Game Changer
The price seemed right so I thought I would give this kit a try and I am glad I did. First off I can tell you that there was way less bleeding involved when using this tool (steel zip ties are sharp). There really wasn't instructions on how to use the tool, so you have to kind of figure it out if you have not used one before. In my own experience: I would wrap the tie by hand, thread the tie through the tool, tighten it, and use the tool to cut it. It worked like charm, mostly. The only drawback, which cannot be avoided because of its size, is when you are in a tight spot, the tool might not reach where you need it to. That being said, there is this other screwdriver looking tool in the kit as well, and you can use to either push the zip tie tight or release it. I was able to use that tool in those tight spaces. Overall, it is durable, but I would buy it again if the need arose.

Much better than using plastic tie wraps
Our Husky is an escape artist. I used these to anchor 3' wire fencing to 3' extension on our 3' fron yard perimeter fence. It has worked well. However, this weekend he decided to pull on the 3' wire fencing on our 12' car gate, which was anchored only with plastic tie wraps. Never thought he'd tryprying that loose, but he did and got out. Fortunately, he was only in the neiggbor's yard and came back when called. So, I immediately got out the tool and metal straps, doubled up on the extra 3' high wire fence extension and used these to make a secure addition like that in the front yard. Cosmo, uor dog, is now safe and secure if not as happy...

Genius, dog and sun proof
I have been using zip ties for attaching a tarp to a fence as a cover for a dog pen. The dog likes to jump up on the tarp and his weight snaps the ties almost the first time. I decided to step up my game with these, I am very impressed with them, they are easy to install, difficult to break and I think they will last a good, long time. Using the tool gets them nice and snug, then it cuts off the excess. And it was so thoughtful that they included a case to keep everything in. I bought more ties because I am sure to find a lot more uses.

Everything needed is included
The steel zip ties will hold up well for exterior use, and won’t sun rot as plastic ones do. The set comes with gloves, snippers, 100 steel zip ties, and the application tool. They all seem heavy duty, and I’m quite impressed with the quality so far.
