Good, but monitor your dogs when they use it
After seeing some of the benefits offered by using a lick mat, we decided to try a couple of different kinds.This one has molded "flowers" to allow you to put treats under the petals for the dog to find, and that worries me a little bit. If your dog is a nibbler, they might decide to chew on the petals, so I would definitely recommend watching your dog when he is using it, and maybe putting it up when it's not being used.Otherwise, the mat does offer good suction cups to keep it in place instead of it getting pushed around the room. It also can be washed in the dishwasher so cleaning isn't that hard, and I appreciate that. Your dogs might use this mat forever without eating the petals, but knowing mine, I will watch them.

HAD concerns with petals getting chewed off...
We thought it might have been risky to try this with our cats. One of them likes to chew strings and anything hanging off of a cat toy. We thought she was going to be into chewing off these petal flaps. But she just scrounges directly for the food!Her little frustrated face from having to push through the little petals to get a little piece of food is SO cute.Can't use this as a normal feeding mat, however. It seems like they have learned that everything in this mat is REQUIRED to be eaten. So even though they have a regular food bowl out all the time, if I put food pellets into this thing, they will scrounge through it until it is empty. Then spend 10 minutes licking between the petals. Haha!

It’s very small
I like the idea of this but am a bit thrown by the deceptive advertising which shows the dogs in the background and the product in the foreground. It appears to be much bigger than it is. Of course it has measurements in the description but I have a tiny 9lb dog and it’s still a bit small for her to “hide” treats. I got this for her to stop “digging” under the door but it’s so small it seems to be ignored. Opt for something bigger imo.

My cat loved, but not durable
My cat loved this mat, but he destroyed it on the first day. The pics were taken 4 hours after it arrive at my house. I wish it was sturdier because it really entertained my one year old kitty
