This isn't the best moisture absorber product I've used, but it still gets the job done. I live in Florida, where it's humid year round, and I typically buy the hanging moisture absorber bags for my closet. Those tend to start collecting water within the first 2 days. However, this tub didn't seem to collect anything until about a week after I had set it out. I also wish the bottom half was clear so you can see the water accumulation without having to pick it up and put it against the light to look for the shadow of the water line. Other than that, it is very easy to open and set and forget. It's also larger than the bags I used to use so will hopefully last longer.

If you’re here looking for these to trap moisture and odor. Well, these will noticeably do the job. I’ve tried others and non have worked this good. I bought the charcoal ones. I will continue to buy. Thank you.

I used these to replace another brand of moisture absorbers that I had in two closets in my home. Each of the old absorbers were depleted and full of water after about three months, so I definitely had a moisture issue in each of those closets. I had even found mold growing on a few articles in each.Now, enter Absorb Pro moisture tubs. They're easy to set up following the clear instructions, and you just place them on a flat surface inside the area you choose. To test their effectiveness, I placed one on the floor of the first closet and placed one on a high shelf of the second.The old absorbers had accumulations of water showing within days and continued until full. It's been a month for the Absorb Pros with no accumulations showing at all. As far as I know the humid conditions still exist in those closets so I would expect to see something happening by now. These are a lot larger than my last absorbers, so I was looking forward to these doing the job a bit longer than three months. I'll continue to "wait and see" for now, if I see some results I'll update. If nothing in another month, I'll have to try another product.**Finally, we have water** Right on time, I'm finally seeing some results. As the weather has started to warm and become more humid, I have found a small amount of water accumulated in the tubs in both closets. I expect this to continue through the summer, especially since we have our AC set to turn off while we're at work. This makes sense and is something to consider when using these. I now rate this product 4 stars instead of 3.
