Good for a fine-weather parasol
The base arrived slightly damaged but I decided to accept it anyway. I have coupled it to a 2.7m parasol in a fairly sheltered situation and it appears man enough for the job but I don't leave the canopy up untended. Admittedly the table is a lightweight alloy one and a substantial wooden table would provide more security.I would say that this base would be fine for a 2m parasol but larger ones require some care in positioning. A good product; a pity about the damage which slightly spoils the appearance but does not affect its function.

Weighty problem solved
This granite base is really heavy and just right for our parasol on a windy day there are not many out there to choose from and we have found this is a good one
