Can Prevention be used on fabric?

Prevention is intended for hard, non-porous surfaces. It may be used for spot cleaning fabrics after a patch test, but disinfection cannot be guaranteed, as soft surfaces absorb liquid and may not stay wet long enough to meet required contact time.

Do surfaces need to be pre-cleaned before using Prevention?

No. Prevention Disinfectants are one-step cleaner-disinfectants and do not require pre-cleaning on lightly soiled surfaces. For heavily soiled surfaces, pre-cleaning is always recommended before disinfection.

Does Prevention have a scent?

Unlike bleach and alcohol, Prevention has no harsh chemical smell that interferes with the ambiance within your environment.

Can Prevention RTU Spray disinfect makeup brushes safely?

Yes. Use on pre-cleaned brushes if materials are compatible. Spray until bristles are wet, keep wet 1 min, then rinse and air-dry. Test one brush first, as bristles and adhesives may react with repeated use.

What is Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide (AHP) and why is it used in Prevention?

AHP is a patented technology that uses low levels of hydrogen peroxide and gentle ingredients to quickly kill pathogens. It delivers hospital‑grade effectiveness with a strong safety profile—ideal for salons, spas, and professional settings.
