This paired with a couple of ECOWITT soil moisture sensors is amazing! I've been monitoring the moisture levels for a couple of the big plants around the house, and have a good watering routine established because of this system. Highly recommend for people who tend to kill their plants.

After going thru tons of different stand alone sensors and "weather stations" I have settled on Ecowitt. This piece of hardware is the inside temp and humidity sensor, as well as the gateway that connects to all the other sensors and the Internet as well. This was super easy to setup and connect to the sensors and the Internet. This system has been functioning flawlessly for almost 6 months. This unit has been communicating with the wind and light sensor which is mounted 30 feet in the air about 80 feet from the house, as well as to the outside temp and humidity sensor. Couldn't be happier with Ecowitt.

Easy to setup the moisture sensors work great for potted plants just look at your phone and tell if your plants need water! And once again there customer service is very very good

The App accuracy for the Ecowitt devices is worthless. Not accurate.

USA made and clear instructions. Sophisticated and inexpensive. I monitor orchid potting soils. It transmits moisture percent from up to 8 (buy separately for $22 each) probes to nearby (WiFi) display on my iPadPro. Including a plotted history by several time frames which can be exported. This device reported and plotted room temp, humidity, atmos pressure from the wire attached probe. It draws so little current I had it attached to a USB battery pack for over a week with little drain. Much more to like about it. Addicting. Exceeds expectations so many ways. Can’t say enough. Well Done.

I am super happy with all the Ecowitt products I have purchased. They are remarkably inexpensive and yet they work perfectly for me. I started with a pool temp sensor and then added the gateway, and then bought four more temp/humidity sensors. They are super easy to set up. The phone app is clear and has the functionality that I need. These things could be priced more expensively and still be good value. This is a no brainer purchase and you'll be happy with them.

Great product, quick updates, works well with Home assistant.
