Some great video tracks, although for certain songs I've seen better versions. Notwithstanding, very well worth buying.

Great music and a few memorable promos
As an Avengers fan I love the themed promo for `Don't Get Me Wrong', a song that is used as the opening theme of the Michael Keaton film `Gung Ho!' I like the amusing promo for `Popstar' and memorable narratives to both `Brass In Pocket' and `Sense of Purpose'. One pleasant surprise is the relaxed fun the group have during `Message of Love', one I hadn't seen before. I agree in the decision not to include the promo for `2000 miles' with the song included in Isle of View Version. (Chrissie) Hynde touches on this subject during the informative well structured 48 min `No Turn Left Unstoned' doc. I was surprised that not only this doc but the 75 min main feature promos have a subtitles option to follow the lyrics whilst you watch. Whether its rock, pop or ballads you are after I believe `Greatest Hits' pulls together a marvellous collection presenting the musical range and quality of The Pretenders. A fitting title that's definitely worth adding to your music DVD library.

Should have looked deeper!
The Biography Channel had this Pretenders / Chrissie Hynde documentary on about 3 times, someone told me about it once, I missed it the second time and watched it the third. It was great. The story of how Chrissie 'came up' amongst her peers in The Damned, Lemmy from Motorhead, The Clash etcetera and how she became driven to forming her own band by seeing their success. Excellent. But I couldn't find it anywhere on DVD - odd! Then, through a long story I won't bore you with, I found the doc to be a part of this 'Greatest Hits' DVD - bloody marvellous! So if you missed it too, look no further; if I HAD looked further I would have found it much sooner.
