SO SOFT! Not just for dance wear.
My daughter can wear black bottoms with her school uniform so I thought this might be a fun option, and it's perfect! It's like super soft lightweight leggings with a handkerchief chiffon skirt added at the waist. On her, the skirt hits just above her knees. It looks really cute with her school tops and she can go dressier with ballet flats or sportier with sneakers - both ways look adorable. I imagine she could do chunky boots or Uggs as well with them.I would say they fit true to size. She is 7 and wears either a 6X or 8 depending on the fit, and the 8 is comfortable but not as snug as you'd want them for dance, so maybe size down for actual dance wear if between sizes?

Flowy Skirt
Perfect for dancing around the house or school or worn to a dance class. These leggings have a flowy dance like handkerchief skirt attached. The leggings/skirt combo were on the smaller side of a size 8 but did stretch enough to fit my daughter who is that size. The skirt is very flowy and has a dance/ballet vibe. My daughter wanted to not only wear it to dance class but also school.

Soft and Stretchy
They’re a little on the thin side but they are very soft and stretchy so sensory wise, My daughter loves it. She is in between the 11 to 12 and 12 to 13 size range so we ordered the larger size and it was a little baggy on her but really not that bad. And I’m kind of glad it was a little baggy because then it was less see-through.I don’t like that they are hand wash only. I also don’t think they would hold up to a lot of abuse if somebody was using it for an athletic purpose.Since they are so soft and stretchy they get 4 stars.

Nice set for ballet class
I got this for my 7 year old daughter who just started ballet. This works out just in case she forgets her skirt for class because it’s attached. Very well made, the tights are nice and thick not see through so it’s better for winter then when it’s warmer out. Designed for over the leotard not under. One minus is that the skit does not come off so if you have a class that doesn’t allow them then you’re kind of stuck. Outside of that it’s a great set!

Soft and stretchy!
Got these for my daughter and she loves them! She struggles with things being too tight across her belly, even leggings with a wide waistband, but she says these don't push on her tummy at all! The attached skirt makes it great for dance class, and it won't get lost! Sizing is accurate based on the measurements--my kiddo is big for her age so we normally do a 150-160 size from Hanna Anderson, and these in the 160 size fit with room for growth! Wish there were more colors!

Beautiful, lightweight, petite
These work great for me daughter! They fit her true to size, unlike so many other leggings. She is kind of petite, and often leggings are loose in her. These fit nicely through our and she absolutely loves the skirt! They also hold up nicely in the wash.

Not a fan
Not sure why these are advertised as dance leggings.. they have zero compression and are quite thin. Maybe some people just like loose fitting clothes? Or soft? They are also see through which is another issue for me. The waste band is also not great quality. These are good to wear over tights like on cooler days when wearing ballet leotards or gymnastics shorts/rompers. Not for warmth but just to add a layer.. maybe keeping the white tights clean before a performance.

Silky soft, but run a bit short
These pants are like butter, they are so soft. My daughter squealed as soon as she put them on about how comfortable they are. I was a little worried they might be a bit see-through because the fabric is so thin and silky, but they seem to be ok so far.I do think they run short. My daughter is only 4'4", but I ordered the 9-10 (140) size, hoping she'd be able to wear them a good long while, but they just barely are long enough. I'll definitely be air drying them to make sure they don't shrink.
