Perfect to battle California heat
We have been using this for a long time. We lived in an apartment with no a/c in California, and it did great to keep us cool. Even if we decide to not use the ice and water in the back, it is powerful enough to keep a nice breeze flowing. It isn't the quietest in the world, but it isn't too loud to keep us awake at night. We moved to Nevada and upgraded to A/C, but we still use this in our office space, helps with the heat generated by two PC's. The remote is a plus for when I am in a video call or lounging in bad lol. Put it on oscillate and it does well to circulate the air. Great value for sure!

Excellent Tower Fan
Even if this were just a normal tower fan it would have been well worth the money from the coolness it pushes out, but with the evaporative cooling it's like having an energy saver air conditioner. Its extremely quiet and reaches so far that I sometimes can't even get the remote to interact with it as far away as I can feel it's breeze. It's important to note that the quality at which it cools through evaporative cooling his highly dependant on the humidity level of your home. The less humid it is, the better it's going to work at cooling with the ice packs and water tank. If you have it in an area of extremely high humidity you could pair it with a dehumidifier to even out it's effect while still using less electricity than a traditional AC unit.

Quiet setting
Fan works well and it’s slender so it’s not completely in the way. It also has a quiet setting so you can sleep with it on. The water compartment is very easy to assemble and blows out colder air.

Excellent fan that provides some cooling
Don't expect anything crazy as it's a swamp cooler and not an AC. It works well for me though. The fan is quite powerful. Cheap to run, and it lowers the temperature of my room by 5-6 degrees when it gets over 80°F in the room. I live in the Salt Lake area. Along with the fan running it makes it feel a little cooler than that. The detachable water tank is nice as it makes it easier to dump out water to prevent algae growth. Make sure you open your window wide enough to allow airflow. If not, your room won't cool well and it will just make it too humid.

Good
It works well if you understand that it’s a cooling fan and not an air conditioner. The air that comes out is several degrees cooler than the air in the room, particularly if you use the ice packs. It is reasonably quiet and fairly powerful. As long as you understand what you are buying, it’s a good product.

Works, does not cool for very long
I'm an IT professional who works from home. My office is about 12'x14', I have several computers, monitors and printers. The average temp in my office, in the summer, is about 83F. I have central air, but I don't get a lot of air flow on the second floor, I keep it set to 76. I have crank windows so a small AC unit is not really feasible. The unit is well built and went together very easily. I've used it for a few days now, the ice packs will last about 3-4 hours during which time the temp in my office will get down to 76-78F. Once they melt, it's not much more than a fan blowing humid air. Even on the highest speed, the fan is pretty quiet, it raised the ambient sound level in my office from about 45 to 60 decibels. The oscillating feature is nice, it easily moved the air around my office. This is the first time I've ever used one of these coolers so I didn't know what to expect. It's kind of a hassle having to top off the reservoir with water and re-freeze the packs every night, possible a second or third set of ice packs might help get me through the day, but I don't have time to stop and mess with it. If I got more than a few hours of cooling out of it I wouldn't mind so much, but as it is, this one is being returned.

Great fan but not an air conditioner (it's an air cooler)
Before I purchased this fan I read a lot of the reviews and decided to give it a try as I own another fan by the same company and figured I would do a comparison. First,it is not an air conditioner unit it is an air cooler. The big question ,does it work. Short answer, yes. When I placed ice cold water along with the included ice packs(which aren't bad but there are better options) and lots of ice in the tank, the fan blew colder air than my other fan(which is just a fancy fan). The recommended use is in addition to an open windows or account vent but I've noticed that either way it still works as advertised. There are lower cost alternatives but this fan works. The only negatives are it's not wifi connected like my other fan and the hassle of refilling the tank. When refilling I just leave everything connected and pour everything in ,as disconnecting and reconnecting the hose is a pain.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT
HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!!! Came broken right out of the box. Started leaking water all over the floor as soon as I started filling the chamber. Did not come with remote or cooling ice packs. Not worth the money!
