I shave it down with a razor blade before I get into sanding it. We were paying sooooo much more for a product that didn't work as well as this. Truly, my boss owes me a huge debt... I gave this stuff to our fabricator and he was absolutely blown away. I don't make resin jewelry or any type of trinket but I use this to fill stone and sometimes wood. I don't know if I would use it outside or I direct sunlight since it may continue to cure passed what it's supposed to... Because the sun will cure this resin. No matter what this stuff is worth hundreds for what I'm able to do with it. Literally filling voids in $10k quartz countertops.... It's better than anything I've used in the industry. I've gone as much as . 25" thick and it still cured, with the better light though. I didn't try the cheap one for a deep pour but it worked fine for upto about an 1/8". I can't smell anything from it at all, no scent to me. Incredibly durable! My girlfriend even used the light for her nails, it had a better design than her other nail light...
